Realms

Realms are settings is a literary device that establishes when and where its plot takes place and location. Also known as backdrop, a story setting can be drawn from imagination or based on historic events, as well as geographical locations in the real world. These are several worlds encompassing Niflheim, Muspelheim (itself and Hell or Duat), Asgard (itself, Valhalla and Kingdom of Heaven or Kaluwalhatian), Midgard (Earth, Reinachos, Berbania, Comieos' World and Delphia), Jotunheim, Vanaheim (itself, Avalonia and Agarathos), Alfheim (itself, New Avalon and Old Agartha), Svartalfheim (itself, Gyania, Vinohia and others) and Helheim, all held in the branches and roots of the world tree Yggdrasil from Ginnungagap.


And the Realm Between Realms which serves as an "in-between space" between the nine via the Bifrost Beam or Bifrost Drift Portal.

Asgard

Asgard (Runes: ᚨᛊᚷᚨᚱᛞ) is a location associated with the gods. It appears in a multitude of Old Norse sagas and mythological texts. It is described as the fortified home of the Æsir gods and others, often associated with gold imagery with magic and technology, these are peacekeepers of outer space and modern Vikings.

Muspelheim

Muspelheim (Runes: ᛗᚢᛊᛈᛖᛚᚺᛖᛁᛗ) is known as "The Realm of Fire", stated to be the source of all heat in the Nine Realms. It is the home of Surtr the brave and his descendants, the Fire Giants, that are prophesied to burn down and home of true demons and devils.

Jotunheim

Jotunheim (Runes: ᛃᛟᛏᚢᚾᚺᛖᛁᛗ) was the homeland of the polar giants in Norse mythology known as the Jötnar. One of Thor's favourite past times was slaying giants, which as you can imagine meant that the god of thunder often found himself in the realm of Jotunheim and Loki's original birthplace. These are harsh and cold climate, but lesser than Niflheim and taiga level biome.

Midgard

Midgard (Runes: ᛗᛁᛞᚷᚨᚱᛞᚱ) is the realm where humans live, the Earth and our universe and several realm divisions: Berbania, Reinachos, Delphia and Comieos' World, including various our universe's planets. Ragnarök, the end of the world, is a series of events that would end with Midgard sinking into the ocean and thus being destroyed, except for Noah and his family and survived from flood.

Vanaheim

Vanaheim (Runes: ᚹᚨᚾᚨᚺᛖᛁᛗᚱ) is a location associated with the Vanir, a group of gods themselves associated with fertility, wisdom, and the ability to see the future, including several creatures with precognition.

Alfheim (Runes: ᚨᛚᚠᚺᛖᛁᛗᚱ) is the realm where magical creatures lived.

Svartalfheim

Svartalfheim (Runes: ᛊᚹᚨᚱᛏᚨᛚᚠᚺᛖᛁᛗ) is one of the nine realms in Norse mythology. It's the home of the dwarves, the master craftsmen of the Norse tales and along with dark elves.

Niflheim (Runes: ᚾᛁᚠᛚᚺᛖᛁᛗ/ᚺᛖᛚᚺᛖᛁᛗᚱ) is a location which sometimes overlaps with the notions of Niflhel and Hel, the cold, dark, misty world of the dead.

Helheim (Runes: ᚾᛁᚠᛚᚺᛖᛁᛗ) is a location which sometimes overlaps with the notions of Niflhel and Hel, the hottest, dark, gloomy, misty world of the dead, ruled by the goddess Hela of Helheim. Where spirits are those who did not find themselves in Valhalla, the afterlife of brave warriors, were destined to spend eternity.
