Xeno'jiiva/Safi'jiiva
“ An unidentified flying animal was born in West Asia, according to those not mentioned in the various sacred books. This dragon, dwelling like the fallen angel in the cave, was not associated with bad gods.”
– Harry Osborn (for Xeno'jiiva)
“ The adult Xeno'jiiva against anything without any reason for locking sake in what matters, alternating and changing the ecosystem and economy? In the depths of the Turkish Republic and the surrounding countries, a new species was found. Before it's too late, its behavior and ecology are unknown, as is its relationship to the other elder dragons. ”

The Safi'jiiva (Caesarodraco aviarufustella; Wyverian and Saurfolk: Rloda-tjollä; Turkish: Sefi'jivah; Ottoman Turkish: سف جييوآ) is an Elder Dragon introduced in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The adult Safi'jiiva has red skin, whereas the juvenile Xeno'jiiva has less translucent blue skin before going to shedding and cocooning itself.
Safi'jiiva gets its name from safi (صافي), the Arabic word for "clear," and jiva, which, according to Hinduism, is a living being or any kind of entity imbued with a life force. In the Wyverian language, Safi'jiiva's name was Rloda-chollä, which means "Perfect Life.".
The name of this monster derives from the Greek word xenos (ξένος) meaning "strange" or "foreign", as well as jiva, which in Hinduism, is described as an entity imbued with a life force. In Wyverian language as Seno-tjölla, which means "foreign life".
A huge dragon with an otherworldly look is called the Xeno'jiiva. Along the length of its horns are six orange sensory organs and two eyes. Its skin appears translucent and crystalline, and parts of its body glow an ethereal blue. It has grayish-blue wings that are torn at the membrane's border. Its torso flames a fiery orange and crimson when it is angry. The Xeno'jiiva will change into a Safi'jiiva after it has matured and molted its skin innumerable times.
In contrast to its young form, Xeno'jiiva, the Safi'jiiva is a big red dragon that no longer possesses an otherworldly look. With the exception of being tenderized, its scales are now hard, extremely durable, and red in color, with some dark accents on several sections, including the horns, feet, spikes, and wing edges. However, the hue of its underside and wing webbing is tan. Except while absorbing energy or when in its "supercritical" condition, its body parts no longer shine. Its neck, back, and tail tip are covered in many spikes.
The Safi'jiiva keeps its arms bent and its chest close to the ground, unlike its juvenile form, which keeps its arms outstretched and its chest high off the ground. This can give the impression that the Safi'jiiva is less smaller than its younger counterpart, despite them being almost identical in size, with the former being slightly longer.
The Xeno'jiiva will hibernate in a cocoon prior to hatching, luring dying Elder Dragons to its location so it can absorb their energies and strengthen itself. The Xeno'jiiva may use its absorbed bioenergy as a dazzling blue flame-like energy once it hatches. These flames are fired as concentrated beams or explosive bursts, which can also heat up or explode the regions they strike, resulting in either Fireblight or Dragonblight. Its body consequently produces a tremendous quantity of heat that could be harmful to anybody in its vicinity.
Instead of employing its elemental attacks at first, the Xeno'jiiva appears to rely more on stomping its adversary with its enormous size. But as the fight goes on, it improves its use of both its body and its abilities, honing its beam assaults and shooting them in different directions. It also uses the beam to heat up the ground in preparation for explosive attacks.
The Xeno'jiiva will go into a "Critical State" mode when it is pushed to the brink, creating spontaneous explosions all around it as its energy spills out into the environment and causes its body to erupt in blue flame. The Xeno'jiiva is much more aggressive and energetic in this state, but it also makes it more susceptible. Due to its inability to regulate its abilities, the Xeno'jiiva may run out of energy if it expends too much at once.
The Safi'jiiva, unlike its younger form, has a greater command over its flame-like energy identified as ether and is able to use it in a variety of ways, including standard beams and a focused laser. After a brief delay, this laser releases energy into the ground, resulting in an energy eruption. The energy can burst forth in a single, enormous burst or in sweeping waves. A hunter can be stunned temporarily by the Safi'jiiva's beam before being hit continuously afterward. When facing a single hunter, it can charge up a sizable beam, forecast the hunter's movement trajectory, and fire a laser where it anticipates the hunter will end up. Finally, it has the ability to sweep its large beam across the area before firing a second sweeping beam in the opposite direction.
The Safi'jiiva uses a variety of physical attacks, some of which result in energy eruptions, including horn scraping, claw swipes, scratches, bites, charges, and tail slams and swipes. Similar to its previous form, it has the ability to violently thrust its front feet into the ground, igniting energy in a wide area around it. This eruption may appear as a linear eruption, a large-area eruption, or a circular, expanding wave of eruptions. In order to speed up its own natural healing process and re-harden tenderized body parts, Safi'jiva has learned to absorb energy from its environment. Some maneuvers, such as the arms- or tail-thrust, will also heal those particular areas.
The Safi'jiiva has a pin move in which it grabs the hunter in its jaws, shakes them around, fires a focused laser beam while holding them, spits them out, then strikes them with a strong energy eruption. Fireblight results from this attack. It also has an "ultimate attack" called "Sapphire of the Emperor" that is similar to Behemoth's Ecliptic Meteor in that it flies and hovers while breathing flame onto the ground, sending flame waves outward and scorching the ground, but neither the flame waves nor the scorched ground deal any damage.
After a while, the Safi'jiiva releases a blue star-like ball of energy that darkens the immediate area before suddenly exploding in a huge explosion of light that covers the entire area. Any creature that comes into its range is said to be capable of being killed, including the Behemoth from Final Fantasy. The explosion, like Behemoth's meteor, does less destroy terrain, so the only way to survive this attack is to hide from the explosion's center behind nearby protruding crags.

The Safi’jiiva stands as one of the most dangerous creatures known in the New World. The monster's immense power means that if the creature were to leave the Secluded Valley or even the Guiding Lands (even in Turkiye), it is believed that it could cause serious damage to entire ecosystems. It took immediate action to ensure the beast didn't escape its nesting ground by launching a siege against the monster.
With its ability to absorb energy outside of dying Elder Dragons, the Safi'jiiva is considered a high-priority target by the Research Commission or Turkish National Movement whenever it is active. Only three creatures are said to potentially face off against the Red Dragon: the Blazing Black Dragon itself, Alatreon, the Magnet Dragon Rukodiora, and the Genocidal Black Dragon of End, Shoahiguan.
The Safi'jiiva's diet consisted of meat of everything, including us, either cooked, rotten, or raw, because of their special acid on the stomach, including the brightest flame-like energy that is easily cooked or burnt, or their serrated teeth that can pierce through armor.
As the fully-grown form of the Xeno'jiiva, the Safi'jiiva retains many of the characteristics of its juvenile self in regards to its anatomy, abilities, and power. However, the monster takes on a drastically different appearance, foregoing the luminous transparent skin it originally had in replacement for extremely rigid red scales across its body, hence its moniker, the Red Dragon. The spikes on Safi'jiiva's back, running down to the base of the tail, have grown exponentially, giving the monster an aggressive look. The horns take on a more curved shape and have a more rigid appearance compared to those of their younger selves. Finally, as the monster no longer maintains its otherworldly appearance, the sensory organs across its head have been removed. When the monster's head is damaged, the cavities where the sensory organ was present can be seen.
The Safi'jiiva maintains much of the energy-based abilities of its younger form and amplifies their destructive properties to extremes. Its aggressive nature combined with its amplified destructive power makes the Safi'jiiva a true force to be reckoned with. However, while the Safi'jiiva has plenty of energy stored inside of itself, if the energy is dispersed from its body or if the beast takes too much damage, it will instantly absorb energy that's available within the valley in order to fully replenish and heal itself from any wounds inflicted on it. This shows that the Safi'jiiva is able to absorb energy outside of dying Elder Dragons.
With such an immense amount of bioenergy concentrated within itself, the Safi'jiiva is capable of compressing this energy into a small star-like ball that turns into an intense, blinding explosion when it makes contact with the ground. Dubbed Sapphire of the Emperor, this raw, destructive power can only be avoided by shielding one's self using the crags and falling debris across the Secluded Valley or in Soğanlı Valley. When the Safi'jiiva is driven to the bottom of the valley, the creature will take on a glimmering state as the heat organ inside the monster delivers energy across its body.
The Xeno'jiiva has amazing power from birth and is extremely hostile as soon as it emerges from its cocoon. Its assaults, however, are incredibly sloppy and irresponsible; it occasionally trips over the holes it makes with its fire beam weapon and recklessly releases explosive energy. According to Arianna de Corona and Anthony Pierre's tutor, Aldrich Soletoile, Estrella's ancestor, either Xeno'jiiva or Safi'jiiva cannot harm or murder members of the royal family in both the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires because of their status as a messiah or demigod.
The Safi'jiiva is instantly violent and vicious towards anyone who approaches it, attacking mercilessly and being even more aggressive than its younger form. It sucks the energy from the land around it, presumably destroying any life nearby after prolonged exposure. It prefers to engage hunters from a distance with beam attacks rather than with melee strikes.
Alatreon, the Blazing Black Dragon itself, is the only monster that is rumored to have the ability to battle the Red Dragon. Given this knowledge, the Safi'jiiva is thought to have the ability to compete with a Dangerous First-Class Monster. All Byzantine emperors and Ottoman sultans or caliphs utilized Safi'jiiva as a kind of dictatorship to quell uprisings and outside interference.
The Xeno'jiiva can only be found at the Confluence of Fates. However, the Xeno'jiiva cocoons and shed skins can be found in the Secluded Valley, where one Xeno'jiiva lived and endured enough molting to achieve its adult form as Safi'jiiva. The Xeno'jiiva was found on Earth in locations such as the subterranean areas of the country of Turkiye.
The Safi'jiiva resides within the Guiding Lands, making its home within the Secluded Valley, where energy is ripe for the monster to absorb whenever it requires it. The monster is known to roam outside of the Secluded Valley, but whether it leaves the Guiding Lands and roams across the New World remains to be seen. The Safi'jiiva was found in hidden areas of Machakheli to Soğanlı Valley in Turkey.

To tame this species, survivors must attack the Safi’jiiva until it is in very poor health, using the special taming method. While it is asleep or knocked out, the player must right-click it with a special food called Yıldızın Somutlaşması, or Embodiment of Star. The food was rare and manufactured with an advanced technology developed by the Terran deities that interacts with the neurotransmitter system that was specifically designed into Safi'jiiva's brain.
It is likely the multidimensionally regulated organization known as the Time Variance Authority that allowed Safi'jiiva/Xeno'jiiva and other fauna from another world to enter the "Sacred Universe", as Harry Osborn and his friends at Oscorp discovered with the help of the Avengers Tower members. It is still unknown where these creatures from Monster Hunter's fauna came from. The godlike hominids known as the Isu, were born with superhuman skills, primarily without the use of physical magic, but with the capacity to predict the future. This is unless the unidentified character known as He Who Remains, a variation of Kang the Conqueror, sent these animals into the cosmos to challenge the Isu species.
He Who Remains introduced numerous species to this universe in the prehistoric era after winning the terrible Multiversal War brought on by his own variations. Because of the gravity and oxygen constraints, he reduced the size of Monster Hunter's animals. All Elder Dragon species' skills were significantly nerfed, and he received help from Arishem and Uatu to have Monster Hunter's animals change into their own versions of themselves.
Safi'jiiva, the ultimate weapon, was created as part of Project Pashneia, a scientific endeavor by the Terran branch of Deities to construct any creature, including humans, animals, and monsters. This animal belonged to Juno and Aita. Juno, who was furious, used the creature to blast all the local humans into cinders with solar radiation until she was mortally stabbed by Hephaestus in the back. When they were meant to, her father's human minions rebelled and killed Saturn.
The Ottoman Empire was a Turkish state that ruled over most of the territories of the former Byzantine Empire and beyond, with Constantinople as its capital. This state was the real homeland of the Jiiva species, the Xeno’jiiva and Safi’jiiva, a superspecies of Elder Dragons that controlled bioenergy and took it to new heights by being able to freely draw bioenergy from its surroundings, lure monsters similar to how Xeno'jiiva lures Elder Dragons, manipulate ambient bioenergy on an ecosystem-wide scale, change the economy and the ecosystem, and destroy wandering souls.
Kızıl Yıldız Binicisi (Riders of Red Star) is a Turkish individual who successfully manages to ride a Safi’jiiva (Turkish: Sefi'jivah), an Elder Dragon. There had only been twelve Kızıl Yıldız Binicileri prior to Levi Ozdemir, a recreator of Ottoman Hidden Ecologists, now known as Türk Çevreci Avcılar or Turkish Conservationist Hunters, and they are spoken of with great respect and honor as either descendants of Osman I or from Lancelot and Guinevere.
Safi'jiiva's real religion was Sunni Islam; before being invaded by Suleiman the Magnificent, all Xeno'jiiva and Safi'jiiva species were pagan and Greek Orthodox; this included Ancient Greek religion, which was now modernized and regarded as halal before being forcibly converted to Islam as an aspect of Islamization. Since Safi'jiiva stands for respect and appreciation, dignity, honesty, fierceness, and strength for others, it was chosen as the motif for the Turkish flag. Unfortunately, in present times, all Xeno'jiiva and Safi'jiiva species are endangered.
According to historians, Safi'jiiva serves as a living representation of both the Turkish flag and the Star of Bethlehem. Due to his peculiar ties to the Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire, Dimitrov was the last member of the Safi'jiiva and Xeno'jiiva species to survive. The only Elder Dragon species that attempted to save a member of a royal family was Nevzad Hanim, a commoner turned princess; his parents died tragically rather than being kidnapped on purpose.
Believing that Şehzade Ahmed was guaranteed control over the Ottoman Empire, Ahmet started an expedition to find the Masyaf keys needed to open the hidden library in Masyaf. Here, he believed he would find the location of the "Grand Temple", and intended to use the power hidden there to further the Templar cause against Hidden Ecologists and the Assassin Order of Istanbul. He fought against his younger brother, Selim, in the Ottoman Civil War of 1509–1513 to succeed their father and was a central figure in the Şahkulu rebellion. Ahmed used the necklace from Safi'jiiva to curse anyone until Selim immuned and used this Elder Dragon to ultimately lose Ahmed against his Selim. Ahmed was executed by Selim's order after the latter usurped the throne and able to rewilding Safi'jiiva into natural habitat.
The combined efforts of the Ottoman Assassins and their ally, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the mentor of the Italian Assassin Order and an ally of the Hidden Ecologists of Ottoman (before the Templar, Abstergo Industries wiped out the Assassins and Hunter themselves in Turkiye since 1989 AD and before restoration on June 4, 2016 AD), ultimately defeated Ahmet's efforts. In the end, Selim was chosen by Ahmet's father to be his heir; Selim happened to come upon Ahmet while marching to Constantinople and promptly killed him.
Following the Russian Revolution, Lyudmila Pavlichenko called a single individual Dimitrov of Istabul. In the twenty-first century, Kaan and his father, Levi Ozdemir, traveled from the Republic of Turkey to observe the aftermath of the genocide in this nation. When Kaan first saw Taran and Eilonwy just before the Ottoman Empire fell, he was ecstatic. After Xeno'jiiva was resurrected as Safi'jiiva in order to fight Rukodiora, Shoahiguan now obliterates his birthplace. As a result, Safi'jiiva's skin, his crested moon on his wings, and his lethal fire star were included on the Turkish flag. In her dream, Lyudmila Pavlichenko mentioned Dimitrov's parents' names—Şayeste and Vahdeddîn—prior to the catastrophe of Shoahiguan, the Genocidal Dragon.
Following Florence Nightingale's passing, Dimitrov became extremely aggressive and used her as motivation to exact revenge on Jean's late biological father, Usman II the Shoahiguan. Up to the Treaty of Constantinople, which is now known as the Treaty of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Elder Dragons and their guardians in the Turkish Republic suffered greatly as a result of the fight against them. resulting in the loss of his family, both Turkish and Usman, as well as his motivation. For this reason, Kaan loses both his mother and father in the present and the past. In order to protect it from alternate history to actual history, he wishes to tame this beast. Before Joszef and Heloise quickly showed in and killed Usman II alongside Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Mehmed V vowed to exact revenge on this Elder Dragon from Uther Pendragon.

Safi'jiiva/Xeno'jiiva is one of few Elder Dragons is at the center of the schemes of almost all the major villains in Weather Dragons.
Xeno'jiiva was voted 43rd place in the Hunters' Choice for Top Monster during Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary.
Safi-jiiva was voted 16th place in the Hunters' Choice for Top Monster during Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary.
Safi'jiiva is designed as the equal/counterpart/rival of Fatalis. They wanted to make another Siege fight where you could cooperate with other players, and came up with the idea of depleting energy levels. In terms of design, they wanted to make an equal of Fatalis, while also giving the surprise that "this is what Xeno'jiiva will look like as an adult!". When they design monsters that look really strong, they tend to end up black-colored, so they made Safi'jiiva red instead to change things up. They wanted it to look like a simple dragon rather than a very original creature design.
The theme; For the Emperor's Amusement of Safi'jiiva was voted among the top 10 music themes in the Hunters' Choice: Top 10 Monster Themes - Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary
