Black Boiuna

Mboiaçu means "black snake" in Yanomami languages, both Hispanophone; Lusophone and Anglicized as Boiuna / Boiúna, without a diacritics in Anglicization.

Nazarene Boiuna was nicknamed for being Black Nazarene, a ritual of Spaniards and French people can ritualist Jesus, who brought this statue into the Philippines as "Itim ng Nazareno" through Mexico via Manila Galleon. When its prey is within range of its mark, the midnight boiuna will attack. Additionally, the Boiuna will use the sea fog or misty fog in its surroundings to conduct ambush attacks using flashlight eyes or mud on gullible hunters or victims.

The Amazon River was the original habitat of the Midnight Boiuna, who were mistaken for the larger, black-skinned Titanoboa. Midnight Boiuna are nocturnal animals who bask throughout the morning, in contrast to typical Boiuna. The species was active at night and was described by Diego Rivas as crepuscular, exhibiting increased activity in the late afternoon and early evening. The ecological hunters saw massive snakes moving, hunting, entangling, and mating both during the day and at night. Midnight Boiuna is found in a range of aquatic habitats with marshes, including oxbow lakes in the western Amazon and in Venezuela's hyper-seasonal savannas (llanos).
