Darkbound (???; Elvish: Svorbëndi; Delphian: Ăsanlótka; Delphian Creole: Dunklegată) is a fictional species of ancient aliens introduced in the Equation Series.
Etymology
???
Physical Appearance
The impure extraterrestrial, Darkbound, resembles a blind goat who sees everyone through ear-like projections that function as sound detectors. Jet black skin, two toed fingers on forelimbs and three toed fingers on hindlimbs, and plantigrade posture with knee spurs for self-defense. The darkbound's skin is barely covered by a breast armor designed to regulate temperature. This skin was unable to see through our eyes due to its concealment on a dark planet like Svartalfheim.
Abilities
Darkbound is immune to the dark element; however, it is an extremely agile and ambush predator that stalks its prey in the high dark zone and in the shadows. Using the same two ear-like projections is analogous to using sound detectors to kill the opponent in the shadows without notice. Darkbound can hide and ride any enemy's shadow without being noticed, doing little damage.
Darkbound can breathe dark matter, resulting in blindness. Darkbound is vulnerable to light and fae elements due to his fear of life and reputation.

Behavior
Darkbound is very elusive and isolated; hence, this alien is very hostile to everyone, including Dark Elves. But the Darkbound are hostile to humans, either in daylight or at night.
Distribution and Habitat
Svartalfheim and several planets beyond it, such as Vinohia and Gynalo, which are all darkness planets and essentially midnight exoplanets with dark matter stars, are the native habitats of Darkbound.
