The Wendigo (synonym: Anthrelaphops cacentrechis) is the one of the mythical creature and a guardian introduced in Historya Davvun and Worldcraft.
The word appears in many Native American languages, and has many alternative translations. The source of the English word is the Ojibwe word wiindigoo. The Proto-Algonquian term has been reconstructed as *wi·nteko·wa, which may have meant "owl".
The Wendigo is a creature, originating from the Frost Giants of Jotunheim, a faction of the Isu, which diverged from their species due to genetic mutation prior to contemporary history; its anatomical structure and biological makeup represent a wholly novel species within the known realm.
Wendigos have short noses, pale eyes with a sky blue iris and no pupil, blue-colored glowing blood with bioluminescence, structures resembling bones on the chest, tough, brownish skin that can withstand both heat and cold, claws that resemble bone fingers between the hands and feet, an ice and silicone heart, and even a white-tailed deer skull.
Wendigo is literally able to produce a black metallic substance in its body, which it can secrete (like when slamming its tail against the ground, for example) or spit out. For a while, this substance will harden into beds of spikes on the ground.
Most creatures on planet Earth, including humans, elves, dwarves, Aesirs, Vanirs, fairies, angels, demons, animals, monsters, and Elder Dragons, are the only creatures born with the Aurorium neurotransmitters that have proven to a Wendigo's mind control. They have also been observed to teleport, dissolving into a cloud of thick mist that reforms elsewhere. Wendigo are one of the few creatures that are impervious to Apples of Eden. They are descended from Isu and are totally immune to Apple's mental manipulation powers, but they are still vulnerable to its physical effects.
The natural Wendigo, on the other hand, had mental control over people by delivering commands to the brain. A wendigo could be created from any human being whose greed overcame them, and the myth was a means of promoting moderation and cooperation. when someone resorted to cannibalism in order to survive. By associating with wendigos for a long time and changing their DNA into a different species—a process called transition—humans can likewise become wendigos. The demigods were immune to Wendigo's curse since they were made of Isu and humans or other Homo species with a higher proportion of Isu DNA.
Wendigo are repelled by heat, particularly fire, since they are spirits of hunger and cold. They are extremely combustible and can catch fire from even little flames.

The Wendigo is an Isu variation that developed into an emaciated carnivorous humanoid that resembled a deer. It was human in size and appearance, and it was essentially a possessed Isu (it is hinted that the genuine Isu died by the curse when its possession was full). However, it is hypothesized that the emaciated carnivorous deer-like monster that descended from a hominid finally fully transforms after being possessed by an unidentified force. Due to protracted possession, this Isu human had developed a blood-stained, rabid deer's head, as if the demon inside was literally bursting through its body and reincarnating into a hominid version of its own species.
Unlike many other cryptids, which inadvertently inspire fear in their victims, the Wendigo seems to have a control over fear as depict in Algonquian folklore. As the experts in the episode say, it can actually bend time and space to reach its victim, and once the Wendigo has you in its sights, there is no escape, ever. The Wendigo takes pleasure in its victim's fear and likes to see their victims have a complete breakdown before they succumb to hopelessness, at which moment the Wendigo pretends rescue is coming, by mimicking human officers, at which point it pounces.
Wendigos are fiercely territorial and will attack whatever they cannot (or do not want to) affect with their magic. They are claimed to be in tune with the forests in which they live and will slaughter anyone who does not respect the woodlands. As a result, legends in its homeworld say that this animal despises humans and other races for destroying woodlands to build their settlements.
Wendigo was native to Canada and the United States, but it could also be found in all biomes, from the Arctic Circle to forests among humans and the Algonquin people. Wendigo is well-known for consuming humans and other creatures while under the effect of mental health.

Wendigo had two species and descended from regular Frost Giants who abandoned social and emotional support. They have evolved and adapted to devour their own kind as cannibals, becoming a new species and evolving into fabled monsters and cryptids of Canada and the United States; one was naturalized citizen-born, and the other is still in Jotunheim, the normal one and ancestor of this species from Earth.
The first catastrophic conflict that occurred between the deities and their Earth's creations, with the latter being aided by those who had developed an immunity to the controlling effects of the Eden's magic and the classical elements. Little is known about the details of the war, however, it served as a distraction preventing both parties from observing the impending danger from the cosmos or spawning Eldritch Terrors in each continent; by the time they did, it was too late. First Catastrophe, was a cataclysmic event during human prehistory, dated to around 50,000 BCE. The global devastation caused by a coronal mass ejection saw the near-total extinction of most creatures and the deities, both of whom were involved in a military conflict at the time.
At the side, some deities protest and some of Gaea's children are against themselves. One dark part of the Prehistoric Civilization's history is the Last Prehistoric War they committed that went against nature and humanity. By using both technology and biology, this society was able to create their own lifeforms by using equipment and materials to build them from scratch. However, this experiment was considered very evil due to one reason: In order to make a new life form, another creature would have to lose its life. Eostre hates her siblings: Juno, Satan, Nergal, Izanami, Pele, Whiro, Hinenuitepō, Lilith, and other evil gods that lost Eve, Adam's first wife, Eostre created the new life form they ever made were modern Elder Dragons. Another major battle fought at the Scandinavia by the Aesirs, Vanirs, Einherjars, Valkyries, elves, fairies, angels, and even some humans, against the combined forces of the fire giants, demons, jötnar, the souls of the unworthy dead, Loki and Angrboda, and his four children Fenrir, Jörmungandr, Sleipnir, and Hela to destroyed Asgard and Midgard before Jörmungandr's true origin. Some Aesirs flee to Delphia with humans via Drift Portal using Orb of John the Apostle, considered are first settlers to produced offsprings of Delphians.
The Elder Dragons and all creatures all over the world, unlike other monster types, which classify creatures by shared traits, Elder Dragons are one of the creatures that defy typical classification and reside outside of the standard ecosystem, regardless of their immense abilities for humanity's last hope. They have learnt how to live side by side with monsters by using a hidden power, the Power Fifth of Nature, to communicate with the towering living things inside and outside the realm. The Power Fifth of Nature as law of dharma, mana, bioenergy, qi, and the force that allow them to communicate with the creatures and live peacefully with them.
Within the ruins of civilizations of Enn, Last Prehistoric War, a Perfect Enemy for Humanity supposedly still exists. Radachalog, also known as the Evil Wyvern of Darkside, is an Elder Dragon from Agartha. According to legend, Radachalog harbors a deep hatred for people and even remembers the deaths of its ancestors, the creatures of the Earth and Sawintir, including other Elder Dragons and even gods, who were most frequently killed by the Enn rather than Eostre, the creation of Nergal. Due to its great power, Radachalog was the ideal adversary for humanity because it completely destroys life before being defeated by Noah and his family. The group is chased by the murderers and escapes into the land of the Watchers, fallen angels that were left stranded on Earth as stone creatures after they descended from Heaven to help descendants of Adam and Eve when they were banished from the Garden of Eden to kill Radachalog in the process.
Many years into the medieval to twenty-first century or the future. Following atrocity wars, the rulers all over the world employ trained experts known as Conservationist Hunters (Elvish: Konservasiäna Jörli'ïma; Saurfolk: Jomrekla) who are amateurs who have received training as members of covert global peacekeeping organizations tasked with defending humanity from abuses of power, oppression, and injustice as well as restoring the environment and providing ecological niches for the princesses and the plebeians. Because of the relationships with nature, oppressors believe that doing so minimizes collateral damage, in keeping with their utmost prohibition against endangering the lives of children.
The primary goal of Conservationist Hunter is to stop further ecosystem damage in an effort to keep extant species from going extinct. Despite the fact that the two have been estranged for millennia as a result of the terrible catastrophe at the end of the Pleistocene Epoch, it seeks to coordinate humans and other races with nature. Before the extinction event and into the Pleistocene, when elves and later humans took over, Saurfolks from the Late Cretaceous began their hunting career over hundreds of years ago. Although their primary duty was fighting and hunting, it gradually changed over time to include other tasks like delivering goods and escorting visitors or national leaders. As the foundation for creating an independent, critical, and open-minded value and belief system from the deity's past, it is actually a value-neutral epistemic claim about the nature of humans and all Earthly races.
The Conservationist-Assassin-Templar War has raged throughout all of recorded human history on planet Earth, in Berbania, Reinachos, Sawintir, and Delphia. It is an ideological and occasionally violent fight involving the Assassin Brotherhood, Templar Order, and Conservationist Hunter. To further each of their objectives within their fight, the three factions frequently took part in or even started military combat between states, mostly under the radar of mainstream politics for the environment, culture, society, and occasionally passion.
The following is an adaptation of the original Algonquian myth of the Wendigo. It is scripted as the traditional myth of this species during Assassin–Templar–Hunter Wars.
The storm lasted so long that they thought they would starve. Finally, when the wind and swirling snow had died away to just a memory, the father, who was a brave warrior, ventured outside. The next storm was already on the horizon, but if food was not found soon, the family would starve. Keeping his knife and spear close, he ventured out upon the most-frequently used game trail, watching intently for some sign, in the newly-fallen snow, of animal footprints or movement of any kind.
The forest lay deep and oddly silent under its gleaming coating of ice and snow. Every creature of sense lay deep within its burrow and slept. Still, the warrior hunted, knowing how desperate his family had become. As he moved through the eerie stillness, broken only by the soft caress of the wind, he heard a strange hissing noise. It came from everywhere and nowhere at once. The warrior stopped, his heart pounding. That was when he saw the blood-soaked footprints appearing on the path in front of him. He gripped his knife tightly, knowing that somewhere, watching him, was a Wendigo.
He had learned about the Wendigo at his father's knee. It was a large creature, as tall as a tree, with a lipless mouth and jagged teeth. Its breath was a strange hiss, its footprints full of blood, and it ate any man, woman or child who ventured into its territory. And those were the lucky ones. Sometimes, the Wendigo chose to possess a person instead, and then the luckless individual became a Wendigo himself, hunting down those he had once loved and feasting upon their flesh. The warrior knew he would have just one chance to prevail over the Wendigo. After that, he would die. Or… the thought was too terrible to comprehend. Slowly, he backed away from the bloody footprints, listening to the hissing sound. Was it stronger in one direction? He gripped a spear in one hand, a knife in the other. Then the snowbank to his left erupted as a creature as tall as a tree leapt out at him. He dove to one side, rolling into the snow so that his clothing was covered and he became hard to see in the gray twilight of the approaching storm.
The Wendigo whirled its massive frame and the warrior threw the spear. It struck the creature's chest, but the Wendigo just shook it off as if it were a toy. The warrior crouched behind a small tree as the creature searched the torn-up snow for a trace of him. Perhaps one more chance. The Wendigo loomed over his hiding place, its sharp eyes seeing the outline of him against the tree.
It bent down, long arms reaching. The warrior leapt forward as if to embrace the creature and thrust his knife into its fathomless black eye. The Wendigo howled in pain as the blade of the knife sliced into its brain cavity. It tried to pull him off of its chest, but the warrior clung to the creature, stabbing it again and again in the eyes, the head.
The Wendigo collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely, almost crushing the warrior beneath its bulk. He pulled himself loose and stared at the creature, which blended in with its white surroundings so well that he would not have seen it save for the blood pouring from its eyes and ears and scalp. Then the outline of the creature grew misty and it vanished, leaving only a pool of blood to indicate where it had fallen.
Shaken, the warrior, heart pounding with fear and fatigue, turned for home. He was weakened by lack of food, but knew that the storm would break soon and he would die if he did not seek shelter.
At the edge of the wood, he found himself face to face with a red fox. It was a fat old creature, its muzzle lined with gray. The creature stood still, as if it had been brought to him as a reward for killing the Wendigo. With a prayer of thanksgiving, the warrior killed the fox and took it home to his starving family. The meat lasted for many days, until the final storm had blown itself out and the warrior could safely hunt once more.
The primary perpetrator of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, which took place on May 2, 1992, was Jimmie Maximus Manx, a human rogue employee of Abstergo Industries who is now the Algonquian demon known as the Wendigo due to the Wendigo's blood. Manx was a true enemy of Rodney King. But Laurence M. Powell and Stacey Cornell Koon refused to become Wendigos, which led to the conflict in Los Angeles between Blacks, Koreans, and Latinos. Before a group of half-Native American teams led by Willie Salas from the Tongva tribe saved this area, the wendigo went on a rampage against everything.
Salas informs his comrades that the Wendigo's primary vulnerability is fire, which can kill them in addition to causing damage. It is recommended to utilize it only as a last option, though. The only way to defeat the Wendigo and save Los Angeles is for Salas to heat a Korean sword blade from an ignited stove. Now that Manx is practically indestructible, Salas uses both the Phrealatar and the Anglatar's breath against him. Salas then instantaneously kills Manx by stabbing him in the chest with the overheated Korean sword and placing the Apple of Eden in his mouth. After Manx dies, his spirit will break free and wait for the next victims. Salas uses this Orb to seals Manx's soul into the device, saving Los Angeles because of Salas and his friends.
“ The Wendigo is a "God" variation that was cursed by avarice and reincarnated as an emaciated carnivorous humanoid resembling a deer. Due to the fact that their primary source was probably unknown, prehistoric people are furious with wendigos. ”
