In the Avatar franchise, the Na'vi aliens (now for Dairk, Corachu, Dermochlory, Iljewar, Distorter, Kimiato, and Rottooth) refer to human and Terran race colonists as "Sky People" (Na'vi: Tawtute, Dairkian: Siente or Rlandas, Corachan: Cihagavol). These invaders come from Earth via space in enormous hyperdrive ships, mine for different metals or plants, and endanger the ecosystems of Pandora, Berbania, Reinachos, and Thatrollwa. Humans, elves, fairies, angels, horned demons, orcs, ogres, trolls, and felynes—including Saurfolks, Vodyanoi, Nagas, Garudas, and Dokkaebis—are seen as destructive, advanced in terms of technology and magic, and emotionally and partially estranged from nature.
Humans, elves, dwarfs, fairies, goblins, gnomes, ogres, and orcs are among the Terran hominids that use enormous interstellar ships to travel to their respective planets from Ursa Major, Delphinus, and Cygnus. They also have gunships and blades, magic and ESP, weaponized animals and pets, and Amplified Mobility Platform (AMP) suits for protection and security against hostile extraterrestrial life.
Since our planet is dying and only a few plants remain, the extraterrestrial races of Berbania and Reinachos are viewed as "demons from the heavens" because they have destroyed the ecosystems and societies of both planets (from Ursa Major and Cygnus, respectively). As a result, most of the people want to bring in Terran animals, either alive or revive via de-extinct, for survival, conservation, and rewilding projects.
