Koggok Uu (Hangul: 콕궄우우; Hanja: 谷谷右胃) is the fictional character and a main protagonist upcoming introduced in My Arirang, the standalone prequel for Historya Davvun, Seven Code Talkers, No Way to Seaway, and Weather Dragons.
A palindrome, Koggok is the Dermochlorian word for "sunshine" because he was born at 12 p.m.
Because of convergent evolution, Koggok Uu, an extraterrestrial from Planet Berbania, is a Dermochlory, the fourth and last known extant species of extraterrestrial that is not related to Dairks, Corachus, and Iljewars. He is digitigrade, has green skin, and has few feathers on his head, much like humans have hair.
The brilliant green appearance of Koggok includes a yellow and white mask on his abdomen, lime pads, lush green markings on his feathers and forehead, and a less pointed ear. His hearing organ is located behind his feathers; thus, his ears are not utilized for hearing. Instead, they were used to detect heat, much like a heat sensor that allows him to distinguish between wet and dry conditions. As is the case with other Berbanian aliens, Koggok has magenta blood, green eyes, and 1.3x vision. His racial coloration is devoid of orange because he cannot perceive the color. Terrans and other immigrants from other planets find the magenta blood of the Berbanian to be nauseating, causing diarrhea, confusion, headache, and nausea if consumed.
My Arirang is the standalone prequel for part of Past and Present Incidents and the prequel to four stories: Historya Davvun, Seven Code Talkers, No Way to Seaway, and Weather Dragons.
Arirang is the song related to folklore that a girl named Aryong left for her husband. Arirang is intricately connected with Korean history and culture, embodying themes of longing, separation, suffering, and hope and as a symbol of the summer season and solstice. It's used to communicate thoughts about the motherland, family, love, and aspirations. This is the reason this Arirang controversy exists as an alien invasion, and both Jineul Klarros and Koggok Uu later despised each other for Shim Saimdang—not only for her but for the entire globe and reputation. If Koggok won, he freed the universe from the wrath of his bastard enemy and earned the Korean king's respect as a Zulu chieftain, while if Klarros won, he took over for the New World Order and world annihilation before Abstergo Industries. Koggok is the first ever extraterrestrial to kill any alien race in Hirawhassa and even on Earth because he pissed off Klarros' insanity.
Many locals at the New Lagos International Library have told them about this astronaut's life and how he was able to return home from Korea because of some strange events. Born into a low-class, nuclear family, Koggok Uu is descended from multiple chieftains on the Hirojafza continent. He was born in the Qafaria Kingdom, which would eventually become a republic thousands of years from now.
On June 1, 1496 AD, Koggok was born in New Lagos, or Hjapras, at the Qafaria Kingdom in the Hirojafza continent of Planet Berbania, or Hirawhassa. This date was the beginning of the summer season and the summer solstice, although naturally, he prefers the fall season.
Koggok's favorite dish on our planet is tteok, which is a mochi equivalent. He brings his tteok back to his home planet and creates a cuisine that is similar to both tteok and mochi. However, Koggok manufactured his own tteok or unintentionally found mochi from Japanese merchants from Kansai after being forced to make more by Jungjong's chefs.
Apart from Dairks, Corachus, Iljewars, Dermochlories, and Ancient Corachus, all Hirawhassan native extraterrestrials—as opposed to Reinachos, Dzretoilad, and Thatrollwa—cannot exist on Earth because nitrogen and argon can poison them, shorten their lifespan, and cause them to lose their sense of anything. However, because nitrogen is lethal to non-Terran aliens except for four sentient races and is the most abundant element on Earth, the four races manage to survive by converting it to carbon dioxide using their special Tynad sac, which is situated near the lungs. This allows the skin to recover rapidly and removes toxins such as nitrogen.
As a result, the majority of Berbanian native aliens have skeletons composed of oxygen, which is derived from lifeforms, and nitrogen, which is weakened in the absence of the Tynad Sac.
Despite being a wimp by birth, Koggok is feared by both Hirawhassan and Terran residents. He used his intelligence to help his closest friend and later adversary, Jineul Klarros. Koggok is skilled in both special operations and infantry, as well as the use and upkeep of specialized weapons, gear, and explosive ordnance. He has had extensive training in sneaking into enemy areas and buildings that are strongly guarded in order to use both physical and magical means for assassination, capture, and military intelligence gathering.
From Ursa Major, Koggok is an ideal extraterrestrial soldier who employed every weapon that was available, whether it was from the Joseon or another country, like the Qing dynasty or the Portuguese Empire. The majority of these weapons used by Koggok while on Earth were a slingshot, fireworks, a crossbow, a glaive, a trident, an arquebus, a sword, a bow and arrows, knives, mochis or tteok (unknown to Koreans that Koggok used mochi as a weapon, filled with poison from snakes), and a kanabo. His signature weapons are a Korean sword and a rice cake.
Koggok created his own lethal weapon out of mochi, which appears to be a harmless cake but is actually loaded with quail meat and snake venom that makes people sick when Klarros and his goons attack the entire nation.
Minus Klarros, Koggok and his Terran and Berbanian pals learned how to fight hand-to-hand from Hwarang, the forerunner of Hwa Rang Do, which works well against Klarros and his goons and which is taught by Do Myung Bo and her brother Do Shin-jeen. The Hidden Savior, the forerunner of the Monster Hunter members, initiated Koggok, the first known extraterrestrial, and only one of them was from the planet Hirawhassa. Koggok is an extraterrestrial race of Dermochlory or Iahvau against Templars and Assassins and later joined them against Klarros, who threatened all of Korea.
Although Koggok's weakness is Pieces of Eden, the seven pilots were immune to Apple's mind control because they are extraterrestrials from other planets. Furthermore, Koggok is immune to all toxic animals, including snakes and quails, both on Earth and in Hirawhassa. As a sign of affection, Myung-Bo gives Koggok a kiss and gives him a "cintamani," which Koggok Uu uses in the final battle to control thoughts and behavior, making people or creatures obey or turn against one another—even with the help of Sundrop Flower magic. Finally mastering the Cintamani, Koggok Uu can produce tangible holograms and apparitions, as well as realistic visual and aural illusions that cause users or targets to see things that aren't there.
All Hirawhassan native extraterrestrials are immune to Apple of Eden's mind control power and Aurorium made weapons, an iridescent gem is more powerful than orichaclum, vibrarium, adamantium, and mithril. Only both Sundrop Flower and Moonstone Opal energies can harm all non-Earth aliens.
Despite coming from a low-class family and having abusive relationships with past girlfriends, Koggok is one of the most popular people on the planet Hirawhassa. Along with being one of Dairk's buddies and Jineul Klarros's closest friends, he likes to avoid paying taxes until they use their lottery winnings to board an interplanetary flight that takes them to South Korea on Earth.
In his rage against his enemies, Koggok turned him into a soldier and a serious psychopath, and his former friends trusted him as the most valuable warrior on the planet, and his side returned to passive and also clumsy behavior. His parents died in traffic accidents, and a group of Razorjets killed his relatives while they were traveling from the Tiqojarha continent and unintentionally raiding northern areas of Hirojafza. He receives a medal and award from the anonymous general for his bravery and independence, much as the Joseon dynasty on Earth did.
A long time ago, in the early 16th century, a dark-named Jineul Klarros and his beautiful Dermochlory's closest buddy, Koggok Uu, were considering interplanetary travel as a way to stretch their budget after Klarros almost went bankrupt. The seven pilots made their first escape with the spaceship in 1514 AD after being authorized by the Hadripsa Space Station, one of the oldest space stations in Ursa Major. In order to find a suitable planet with sentient species, Uu and Klarros eventually depart from Hirawhassa.
Nevertheless, the spaceship is constantly pursued by the wormhole, trapping the seven pilots. The spaceship then becomes locked and moves to an unidentified galaxy before entering the solar system. But the spaceship malfunctions after the asteroid strikes it, misidentifying the meteor that is headed for Asia.
In 1515 AD in the Joseon dynasty, as part of South Korea, many of the seven pilots inside the spaceship—two Dermochlories, two Dairks, one Corachu, and one Corairk—landed near Hanyang, South Korea, because the vehicle crashed and safely landed with safety gear. All of them have successfully landed and are less harmed after crashing and finding many Koreans as their newest threat, but seven pilots are friendly, and they listen to the Korean words as if borrowing some of these words into their alien language, which is the first ever case of loanwords found on Planet Berbania.
As previously claimed by the Korean Society of Hunters from South Korea under Diana Spencer, Koggok was listed as the first extraterrestrial and non-human in Jungjong's books in secret in the Seoul library. The book survived the fire that destroyed the evidence, but Abstergo Industries failed, and she and Prince Charles want the book brought to Lithuania with Koreans before Francisco Muller and Nilan Punzalan notice after she dies. The statue of the alien from the Joseon Dynasty was placed underground in the Tri-State Area of New York State. Alexander Hamilton and his Hunter goons now own the abandoned Isu temple.

Koggok Uu's bodily design for his own species, the Dermochlory, or Iahvau in their original tongue, is actually the reason he played the same role as Do Min-joon, the main character from the Korean drama My Love from the Star, and the Grinch. In 1500, during the Joseon period, Koggok and his six pals arrive on Earth through a wormhole, and he later develops feelings for a human. He was extraterrestrial life, much like Superman or Clark Kent. Both Koggok and Kent are superheroes and aliens from different planets, and they both defend humanity and the rest of the world from harm. Koggok was based on another DC Comics superhero name Martian Manhunter.
Koggok was compared to Optimus Prime from the Transformers series. According to Transformers One, Optimus Prime and Megatron were friends while mining for the Thirteen Primes of Cybertron, the elusive group, before they betrayed one another. The reflections reached Jineul Klarros as Megatron and Koggok Uu as Optimus Prime. Similar to Grinch before to his reforms, Koggok devises a heinous scheme to permanently ruin Joseon since he can no longer bear the holidays there.
The only extraterrestrial main character outside of the Past and Present Incidents saga is Koggok Uu, an alien from the constellation Ursa Major who is not a eukaryotic animal. The Koreans mistook him for the "Servant of Grim Reaper from the Sky" and he is one of the Sky People of Earth. The phrase "Sky People" refers to the Na'vi aliens used to humans, one of the alien species that came on a new world in James Cameron's Avatar franchise by 20th Century Studio. Koggok Uu's name and surname are palindrome, and which is why his name is intentionally used.
The Earth Responsibly universe never had a time machine because Koggok Uu and his six friends are based on Mills, an alien astronaut played by Adam Driver from 65 (2023). This is because time machines are only allowed to enter the another universe and travel back in time from different universes in science fiction and high fantasy. The series assumes that the Seven Pilots of Berbania existed hundreds of years ago, on an exoplanet far from Earth, and before Rapunzel lived long ago (during Tangled to AC: Unity events) since these seven pilots of Berbania from Ursa Major are living mantras, much as in 65.
Fun Fact: Kanye West and Katy Perry both release the song "E.T." Katy Perry said the song, which she called "Extraterrestrial," is about "falling in love with a foreigner," a reference to Koggok Uu's successful attempts to win over his companion (Jineul Klarros) to a romantic relationship with a eukaryotic human (Do Myung Bo). This line from Katy Perry's song "You're so hypnotizing, Could you be the devil? Could you be an angel? Your touch magnetizing, Feels like I am floating, Leaves my body glowing," alludes to Koggok Uu's glowing markings and the fact that he is an alien being rather than a goblin or dokkaebi in Korean. "You open my eyes, And I'm ready to go, Lead me into the light," is another line from Katy Perry's song that foreshadows the plot in which Koggok becomes the hero who saves the nation from his betrayed best friend. In this song, Kanye West's lyrics "I'ma disrobe you, Then I'ma probe you, See I abducted you, So I tell you what to do, I tell you what to do, what to do, what to do" alludes to Koggok Uu, who has struggled in his own life and is reluctant to tell anyone that he must be unique and human in order to fight evil. He was kidnapped by the king along with his friends, and is currently the king's closest friend in Korea.
