Cyan Velocidrome
“ Because of the difference, a subspecies of this peculiar Velocidrome has a greater appetite, coma smoke on its mouth, is immune to its own slumber, and lacks any Velociprey. ”

The Cyan Velocidrome (Azurolophosaurus dominum cyaneus) is a Bird Wyvern and a subspecies of Velocidrome introduced in Historya Davvun, Weather Dragons, Worldcraft, and Rescris.
Both Velociprey and Velocidrome have the first word "Veloci-," which was introduced in the first generation of Monster Hunter. It is from a real dinosaur called Velociraptor; both this species and the dinosaur's first name are derived from the Latin word velox ('swift') and refer to the animal's cursorial nature and carnivorous diet. In Japanese name was ランポス (ranposu), in conlang of Wyvernian: Runpod, means "running foot".
The Cyan Velocidrome is a subspecies of Velociprey that evolved from its nominate subspecies, which had cyan on top. Like all Velocidrome, it has two crests, black stripes, and red claws. This subspecies appears to have evolved into a lone creature without a pack of Velociprey followers, which is why it was split off and has its own sounds and behavior.
The Cyan Velocidrome spits or bites a sleep agent to put the enemy unconscious. Unlike the normal Velocidrome, this subspecies is independent and includes a spinning bite followed by a tailwhip, a side-to-side jumping body-tackle, and super jumping that causes small dust covers and small rocks popping up, showing it is breaking the ground as it jumps.
ugh
Velociprey are a part of the Bird Wyvern classification. This species is led by the Velocidrome. Despite being a predatory species, Velociprey are low in the food chain. They may even become food for other large species of wyvern, although their speed and agility will discourage most of larger predators. They prey mostly on small herbivores such as Kelbi, Mosswine, and occasionally Aptonoth. Velociprey are weak, but together they pose a credible threat to hunters or even small wyverns. Rathian sometimes preys on Velociprey to feed her young, this indicates that some other predatory wyverns also prey on Velociprey for food. Velocidrome are in the middle of the food chain, feeding on Herbivores like Aptonoth. Though they can feed on weaker predator and herbivore species, larger predators are known to occasionally feed on them such as Abiorugu and Astalos.
From their highly developed brains, Velociprey can come up with a hunting plan quite quickly. The Velociprey will use a range of calls to talk to each other in order to cooperate properly. They usually surround prey, giving it little ways to escape, and attack by using their foot claws and hand claws. If their is a large pack, they can take down prey bigger than young Aptonoth. Inside of a Velociprey's beak is number of sharp, thin teeth. Though the teeth look delicate, they are surprisingly hard to break. Even bombs can't break a Velociprey's teeth. Velociprey have powerful legs for used running at high speeds after prey with claws used to injure prey.
Its speed and agility are its main strengths. Using these advantages, the Velocidrome will leap around in order to kill prey in a single slash of their hook-like toe claw. The Velocidrome is heavily set in its pack mentality and will rarely fight alone. To try to scare away potential predators, Velocidrome have colorful scales that act as warning colors. All Velocidrome have been seen spitting strange substances from their mouth. These Velocidromes have a strange sac that has variety of materials in them such as Farcasters and corrosive acids, which combines with their salvia, allowing them to spit a wide variety of substances at prey. The origin of this green spit of Velocidrome has the odd effect of a Farcaster sending the enemy back to position after eating an undescribable species of mushroom.
Cyan Velocidrome is the only raptorial Bird Wyvern to not live under a social hierarchy and is avoided from their Velociprey due to their coloration. Cyan Velocidrome is very docile and independent, and unlike Velocidrome, which is due to the loss of its troop of Velociprey, it has grown larger and stronger. Strangely, there have been reports of a Cyan Velocidrome assaulting a town in the marshes, forest, and beach, as well as normal Velociprey and Velocidrome.
Although the Cyan Velocidrome is a cathemeral and does not sleep like humans, they do get six hours of sleep annually, in contrast to Velociprey and Velocidrome.
In Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia, and the Americas, the Velociprey and Velocidrome inhabit lukewarm forests and mountains. Additionally, they are primarily found in ghost towns and ruins with nature. These creatures were listed by Tony Stark and Norman Osborn from the Monster Hunter series. Boggi, Maccau, Izuchi, Genprey, Ioprey, Jaggi/Jaggia, Wroggi, and Baggi were "made" by Arishem for the Earth.

Velociprey can be tamed using fish, left by hunter for became ridable and some case, they grown up into Velocidrome and calls non-tamed Velociprey as allies for their battle purpose. Velociprey, however, can pet from the single egg and hatching in hatchery or incubator made by wyvernians and humans respectively.

It is possible to "erase" these monsters (and the other 'prey monsters) if you score a killblow with a cutting weapon while they are in mid-air during their high leaping attacks. This will cause them to become sliced clean in half and their remains will instantly fade away, leaving no corpse behind.
It can become infected by the Black Frenzy Virus or became Afflicted that possessed by Qurio.
Like all of the '-prey' family, this sub-species also fights in a pack.
Velocidrome's crest is breakable.
Velocidrome now has a pin attack.
Velocidrome will now limp when weakened, can be carved 3 times, and enter rage mode.
It can now call on Velociprey during battle, whereas in previous games it could not.
Among the raptorial Bird Wyverns, only Velocidrome and Gendrome have no breath attack until 3rd Anniversary of Earth Responsibly.
Velocidrome does not appear in Monster Hunter Tri, but a similar role is played by Great Jaggi, a raptorial Bird Wyvern that can summon younger individuals of the same species.
In its introduction Scene, the Velocidrome is seen to raise its head and roar to call on Velocipreys, but Velocidrome never does this in battle during 1st and 2nd generation games, until the 4th generation.
Velociprey are closely related to three other species of Bird Wyvern: Giaprey, Genprey and Ioprey. These minions first appeared in the original Monster Hunter, except for Giaprey, which appeared in Monster Hunter 2.
Velociprey are arguably the most common raptor species, appearing in the Jungle, Forest and Hills, Great Forest and Old Swamp.
Green spit of Velocidrome has the odd affect of a Farcaster sending the player back to camp, making them as Elder Dragon-Level Monsters.
Velocidrome was voted 154th place in the Hunters' Choice for Top Monster during Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary.
