The word itself is borrowed from the Classical Nahuatl: Cipactli, means "crocodile", "alligator", or "caiman".

In Aztec mythology, Cipactli was a primeval sea monster, part crocodilian, part fish, and part toad or frog. Always hungry, every joint on its body was adorned with an extra mouth. The Isu warlord Tezcatlipoca sacrificed a foot when he used it as bait to draw the monster nearer. He and his Isu rival-friend Quetzalcoatl created the earth from its body. In the Maya tzolk'in, the day Cipactli corresponds to Imix. In the Mayan Popol Vuh, the name of the earthquake demon, Zipacna, apparently derives from Cipactli. Sipakna is the demon Sipak of 20th century Highland Maya oral tradition. In Migian, Cipactli is Quanai.

After creating humans and changing all animal species, the Isu implanted artificial neurotransmitters in all animals' brains. This method kills all purebred and natural animal species, even those that appear natural and unmanufactured. The Apples of Eden have mental dominion over all species, including humans, because they can control the brain via their interactions with neurotransmitters.

Historya Davvun: Fight for Millennium Part 1 (January–December 1998)

The frost-Isu Itztlacoliuhqui was effectively removed from the host body of Mia Morelo in Pico de Orizaba by the joint Mexico City-Saltillo divisions. In an effort to turn the extraterrestrial crocodilian creature known as the Cipactli into a weapon, the renegade Templar Dante Gramatica has retreated farther into the Yucatan Peninsula. In order to put an end to the beast before it can be used as a weapon of mass extinction, Danilo Robles is presently leading the vanguard toward the Chicxulub impact crater with Chang'e's crescent energy spear.

Ernesto Zedillo appeared worn out as he communicated with Zed Apples and Danilo Robles via encrypted Hunter frequencies within a secure communications chamber. After the Domo and Wakanda Alruh discoveries, he had seen the public's confidence erode. The deaths of popular celebrities between 1990 and 1997 now seemed to be related to psychological warfare, assassinations, and Abstergo conspiracies.

Zedillo acknowledged that governments throughout Latin America were now collapsing into panic after discovering the truth about Abstergo's cloning programmes, ecocide operations, and covert wars. The president quietly said, "Mandela alerted us that the incident happened after Diana Spencer died," and "The entire world ignored him."

Governor Vicente Fox came to one of the subterranean evacuation shelters constructed by conservationist hunters and suckers in Guanajuato. The subterranean networks beneath colonial streets were packed with thousands of refugees, and both local and foreign children sketched images of dragons, gods, and giant birds they had seen during the worldwide awakenings. A few guards told the governor in whispers of something much worse. According to Fox's vision, Cipactli was a massive extraterrestrial crocodile that predated both the globe and human civilisation.

Dante Gramatica, a disgraced former Templar agent, traveled via underground tunnels in Mexico with renegade Sigma survivors and mercenaries. Dante, who had been banished from the Templar Order due to horrors, incest, and unlawful human experimentation, now pursued power apart from Abstergo. Alvaro Gramatica, his son, grudgingly followed him farther into prohibited ruins.

In contrast to his father, Dante was solely concerned with power, whereas Alvaro was clearly troubled by the killings taking place all over the world. He thought Cipactli could simultaneously annihilate the three ancient factions and Abstergo. Dante found references to this species as "The First Devourer," "The Crocodile from the Stars," and "The Mouth Beneath the Impact" in the secret temple maps taken from Sigma archives. Even seasoned mercenaries were uncomfortable, though one soldier refused to go farther into the tunnels, and Dante killed him without hesitation.

The last screen showed Ernesto Zedillo standing next to Danilo Robles, Felix Guevara, Zed Apples, Mia Morello, Carolina Manzana, and others in Mexico City's underground shelter. Humans, Fomorians, Saurfolks, dwarves, elves, and rescued animals coexisted in secret underground districts behind them. At the sight, the Pretoria bunker became silent. For many leaders, it was the first concrete evidence that nonhuman societies lived beneath the surface of the modern world. Danilo displayed pictures from the Citlaltepetl incident, showing Tezcatlipoca in the Nagual form, Chang'e and Quetzalcoatl battling Tezcatlipoca and the Sigma Team, frozen Abstergo corpses inside the temple before it turned into lava, some Ahuizotl attacking clone soldiers, and Mia after escaping possession. Then Felix Guevara pointed Chang'e's crescent spear in the direction of the camera. He said, "This war is no longer mythology and it is history returning." 

As convoys from every remaining resistance network gathered toward Central Greenland across the Arctic horizon, engines roared. These convoys included hunters from Mexico and Arizona, Vatican operatives, Chinese troops, Agarthan guardians, Bhutanese defenders, Irish resistance cells, Indonesian and Filipino Hunter guilds, Congo fighters, Hawaiian protectors, and Diana Spencer's surviving servants. For many of them, Anthony Fortiz-Pierre was merely a legend. When they eventually saw him standing on a ridge with a view of the battlefield, the younger warriors stared in shock as the older veterans instantly saluted. Age and centuries of conflict lingered in Anthony's eyes, but he was still as stern and proud as ever.

Anthony emerged from the armored lead car, dressed in bulky winter clothing covered with ancient, concealed armor that had been constructed centuries before. The assembled fighters were still taken aback by his arrival after all these years. He had become practically legendary to many younger Hunters, who saw him as a historical ghost living in the present. He was first embraced by Kusugak Hender. Nearby, Snegurochka, whose pale complexion nearly melded with the Arctic storm itself, arrived from the seaside with Dani Mangga and her allies.

Snegurochka, Dani Mangga, Kusugak Hender, Joey Moeller, Malina Larsen, and numerous other resistance leaders were standing next to Anthony. "We strike before the entire globe dies" was Anthony's sole directive to his allies. While entire ridges had fallen inward, scouting parties found massive trenches carved through the snow; nonetheless, something big had tunneled beneath the ice.

Snegurochka gave Anthony a slight smile as soon as she noticed him. She whispered in Russian, "You still survive" or "Ты всё ещё жив?" (Ty vso yeshcho zhiv?) Since Arianna, Anthony, and their offspring had traveled the world in the 18th and 19th centuries, these people had known each other for generations. The older survivors in attendance instantly realized something inconceivable as Anthony laughed wearily in Russian, "So do you" or "А вы?" (A vy?).

Static flooded the room when communication operators abruptly stabilized the Greenland connection inside the Pretoria bunker in South Africa, which was guarded by Dora Milaje and South African soldiers. For a few seconds, Anthony's voice could be heard clearly over the speakers while Queen Arianna was unable to speak. Even Nelson Mandela discreetly moved aside to give them solitude as the bunker went silent. When Anthony finally said, "Arianna," her eyes began to well up with tears for the first time in front of the whole resistance, and she responded, "You're alive." Anthony, thousands of kilometers away under the icy sky of Greenland, gave a feeble smile and shouted back, "I promised I would always be."

The elder Hunters and Diana Spencer's former workers watched with emotion, as some had not heard the two talk since the late 19th century, when the royal couple lived, meetings with Alexander Graham Bell, and even contacts with Helen Keller decades before. They reconnected in spite of decades of conflict, banishment, immortality, and covert conflicts. "We solve all of this together," Arianna said to everyone listening around the world as she stabilized herself.

The creature was then described by survivors of destroyed Abstergo camps as having crocodilian armor, extraterrestrial biology, luminous abyssal eyes, mouths all over its body, inconceivable regeneration flesh, and a roar that sounded like several animals howling at once. After watching retrieved video, T'Chaka came to the horrible conclusion. The organism was not indigenous to Earth or Greenland. Cipactli had gotten away from the Abstergo testing facility. And now, perhaps attracted by the spirit of the Isu temples, it was heading toward them instinctively.

The remaining Isu in Canada, such as Tezcatlipoca, Chang'e, and Quetzalcoatl, watched on television as the situation in Greenland worsened. Tezcatlipoca was furious with them and remained silent for a considerable amount of time before speaking. The once-proud Isu bowed his head slightly as Chang'e narrowed her gaze warily. Tezcatlipoca showed Quetzalcoatl ancient Isu records that described the Greenland temples, but Quetzalcoatl remained cautious and listened. Tezcatlipoca carried tablets from Honduras. They were planetary stabilizers, not just archives. The barriers between Earth and Everrealm with dormant Isu layers could permanently collapse if they are damaged or corrupted.

Tezcatlipoca was looking north, while Cipactli was heading straight for Greenland. "If that thing reaches sacred sites before us," he continues, "everything breaks." Chang'e nodded slowly, and Quetzalcoatl intended to take revenge against Cipactli. The three remaining Isu decided to battle together for the first time since their ancient betrayals.

Unusual readings flashed on Hunter instruments as the united convoy advanced more inland. The hollow ice underneath them was created artificially rather than naturally. Beneath the ice, ancient metallic constructions were buried for kilometers. In the past, three enormous energy signatures pulsed beneath the ice sheet, acting as a beacon to awaken Isu temples and even release two Southeast Asian dragons, Bakunawa and Antaboga. "These are larger than the temples in Mexico and Agartha combined," William Miles affirmed based on Wakandan readings. T'Chaka saw the threat right away. Abstergo might be able to revive dormant planetary systems left by the Isu, mass-produce clone armies, or stabilize interdimensional portals if they took control of the Greenland temples. However, something else had already made it there.

The magical cold emanating from the temple area caused several of Abstergo's cloned warriors to quickly collapse, despite their sophisticated armor and genetic engineering. Unstable clone tissue reacted strongly to the Isu energy fields, causing their bodies to solidify from the inside out. By using traditional adaptations like fur-lined masks, sealskin jackets, whale-oil heating systems, and Inuit survival skills pilfered from nearby tribes, real human mercenaries were able to live longer. Even so, dread spread swiftly; entire squads vanished under the ice, while others claimed to see enormous shadows moving beneath frozen lakes and others reported hearing voices inside snowstorms.

Beneath kilometers of ice, three enormous doors set into black Isu metal slowly came to life. One by one, symbols started to glow. Outside on the freezing plains, animals abruptly fled southward in fear as migrating monsters drove away polar bears, Arctic wolves, seals, snowy owls, and even whales beneath the ice. One Tarkshya was torn from the sky, a Kirimu disappeared beneath blood-red water before regenerating itself, and even Druk's electrical storms barely slowed the extraterrestrial monstrosity as it retreated to the skies. Cipactli tore through dragonfire and lightning alike on its mouth and hands, as entire sections of glacier shattered beneath its claws. As Cipactli was getting close to the central temple, an Arctic tern finally made it to Anthony Fortiz-Pierre, screaming warnings before passing out from tiredness. Anthony Fortiz-Pierre was staring at the far-off glacier horizon when Cipactli came, and for the first time in generations, he appeared terrified.

Snegurochka and Anthony raced across crumbling ice fields on snowmobiles in the direction of the exposed Isu entrance. Behind them, Sigma Team and Cipactli were simultaneously attacked by Hunters, Suckers, Danish soldiers, and others. While Anthony battled Abstergo soldiers with ancient Isu-forged Dual Blades that were once used by forgotten warriors of Gaul and Rome to cut them, Snegurochka raised walls of supernatural ice to protect him from artillery and debris. He also used the Royal Scepter to shoot magic and burn enemies.

The energy core pulsed ferociously inside the temple. Anthony took out the Moonstone Opal that his friend and mentor Aldrich Soletoile had given him a long time ago. The relic immediately responded to the Domo, the Alruh, and the emerging Isu temples across the globe. The entire temple awakens as Anthony tosses it to Snegurochka, keeping the Moonstone Opal steady while he uses the Sundrop Flower energy that he acquired from Arianna. Through Greenland's glaciers and into the sky itself, blue-white light sprang skyward.

When the temple was activated, the Ikusik, ghostly ancestral warriors, appeared all across the battlefield. They were descended from old Inuit hunters, forgotten Vikings, warriors from three factions, fallen hunters, and spirits killed during Abstergo's purges. Even tough mercenaries fled in fear as the dead raced straight into Sigma Team ranks, causing clone soldiers to panic as ethereal warriors broke past their defenses. However, the activation had an additional effect; as Something old awoke, the sealed prison beneath Apolaki Caldera burst out far across the Pacific near the Benham Rise.

A massive extraterrestrial dragon emerged from the depths of the Philippines and blasted skyward in the Pacific Ocean; Bakunawa was back. Satellites briefly malfunctioned throughout Southeast Asia as the celestial dragon shrieked so loudly that residents, rebels, and even Sigma Team fled from the beast. Drawn instinctively to Cipactli and the temple energies, its enormous form traveled across oceans at horrifying speed toward Greenland. Even the awakened Isu stopped when they detected its approach.

Duksamdirga, another ancient foe, emerged from the storm clouds as Cipactli arrived at the temple plateau. With enough force to shatter entire glaciers, the dragon from Agartha crashed straight onto Cipactli. This conflict marked the renewal of a long-standing blood feud between Duksamdirga and the Cipactli that dates back to the First Catastrophe of 74,000 BCE.

While Quetzalcoatl unleashed solar energy, Chang'e used Moonstone magic, Tezcatlipoca used obsidian weapons, Gaea herself broke the ground beneath Cipactli's limbs, and Danilo Robles used the spear to cut Cipactli's skin, the two ancient rivals engaged in a brutal battle across the ice. A ship close to the beach quickly froze solid, causing everyone to turn as a chilling wind blew across the battlefield: Elsa of Arendelle had arrived.

As Greenland and foreign fighters cheered, a far-off niece of Arianna, cousin of Rapunzel, sister of Anna, sister-in-law of Kristoff, creator of Olaf, and daughter of Agnarr and Iduna entered the snow-covered battlefield. Anthony gaped in shock before chuckling once, saying, "My niece chooses dramatic openings," while Elsa gave a slight smirk. Before Anthony utilized ice magic to quell a blizzard brought on by the merger of Moonstone and Sundrop, she joined Snegurochka. Cipactli's legs and tail were frozen beneath layers of magical Arctic ice by the two ice wielders working together.

As the combined attack of Hunters, Assassins, Templars, Suckers, Agarthans, Inuit fighters, Danish soldiers, animals, and secret races began, Cipactli let out a fierce roar. With his brilliant gold Dual Blades merged from Sundrop and Moonstone energy, Anthony leaped high above the battlefield, slashing, swirling, and striking straight into Cipactli's injured neck to pierce its flesh. He landed unharmed like a superhero.

When Cipactli removes the ice from its forelimbs, Duksamdirga, Druk, and Bakunawa all swoop down, wrap themselves around the creature, and drag it skyward. The three dragons then launch simultaneous attacks, and Bakunawa bites through Cipactli's throat far above Greenland's skies. In a unified, cataclysmic strike known in ancient lore as the Bite of the Sky, they tore the extra-planetary abomination to pieces, permanently cleansing its synthetic poison from the world. Tezcatlipoca uses dark energy; Chang'e uses Moonstone energy; Quetzalcoatl uses wind fused with Sundrop energy; Anthony uses the Duke's Isu Scepter with a powerful blast; Elsa uses powerful ice; Danilo tosses Chang'e's Spear; and Gaea fuses both Aether and Chaos elements into Cipactli to instantly kill the extraterrestrial monster. Flaming pieces of its body and their entire body plunged into the Arctic Ocean. The Cipactli is now killed and left sprawled face-down in the Arctic Ocean.

Over the ice fields, survivors gradually came to the realization that they had accomplished the seemingly impossible. Hunters, Assassins, Templars, dragons, awakened Isu, secret races, and regular people have all successfully engaged in combat for the first time. Before going back to the Philippines to continue protecting the oceans, Bakunawa let out one last roar toward the north. Druk vanished into storm clouds and retreated to Bhutan, while Duksamdirga headed back toward Agartha. Across the cold battlefield, the last defenders rejoiced. At last, Elsa approached Anthony Fortiz-Pierre in silence, gave him a strong hug, and he presented himself to Snegurochka and his companions. Under the northern lights of Greenland, Anthony reunited his family after generations of conflict, banishment, and concealment. In November, the species was declared globally extinct.
