Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup (220g) all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar, light or dark
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
25 – 30 Hershey’s Nuggets, chopped
Sea salt for sprinkling
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
Gradually add the flour mixture in batches, mixing well between each batch.
Fold in the chopped Hershey’s Nuggets. If there are too many chocolate chunks to incorporate fully into the dough, press any leftover chunks on top of the cookie dough balls before baking.
Using a cookie scoop, place 3 tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Let the cookies cool before serving.
