1 pound ground beef
1 package (6 oz) stovetop stuffing mix (any flavor)
1 cup water
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
2 tablespoons brown sugar (for topping)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (for topping)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, stovetop stuffing mix, water, milk, egg, garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to make the topping glaze. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake the meatloaf for 55-60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
