This Magic Crispy Baked Shrimp recipe features tender jumbo shrimp coated in a crispy, golden breadcrumb topping. Baked to perfection, this dish is bursting with flavor, thanks to the garlic, honey, and Parmesan cheese. It’s the perfect seafood dish for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion.
For the Shrimp:
1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ cup dry white wine
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and divided
Juice from 1 lemon
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping:
¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Pour dry white wine and 2 tablespoons of melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking pan. Place the pan in the oven for 10 minutes to reduce the wine.
In a bowl, combine the remaining butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat.
In another bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and 2 tablespoons melted butter for the topping.
Remove the preheated pan from the oven, and arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the pan.
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the shrimp.
Bake for 12 minutes, then broil for 1-2 minutes until the topping is golden and crispy.
