Creamy Cucumber Salad is a nostalgic, refreshing side dish made with crisp cucumbers, red onions, fresh dill, and a tangy sour cream dressing. It's the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, summer picnics, or potluck dinners. The combination of crunchy vegetables and creamy dressing makes this a light and flavorful classic that's incredibly easy to prepare and best enjoyed chilled.
3 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
1 cup thinly sliced red onion
½ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons minced fresh dill
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
½ teaspoon salt

Cut the onion into thin slices using a sharp knife or mandoline.
Wash and slice the cucumbers thinly, then pat them dry with paper towels.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, vinegar, dill, sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Stir until well blended.
Add the sliced cucumbers and onions to the bowl and toss gently until coated.
Garnish with extra dill and black pepper if desired.
Serve immediately or chill before serving.
