Ingredients:
2-3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 medium-sized)
1 packet (1 ounce) mild taco seasoning
1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies, with juice
1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 container (15 ounces) salsa con queso
Street taco-size flour tortillas
Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro
Directions:
Prepare the Chicken:
Lightly spray the inside of a 5-6 quart slow cooker with nonstick spray. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Season the Chicken:
Sprinkle the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper over the chicken.
Add the Tomatoes and Chiles:
Pour the can of diced tomatoes with green chilies and the can of diced green chiles over the seasoned chicken breasts.
Slow Cook:
