This Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip is a lightened-up version of the classic dip, made with shredded chicken, Greek yogurt, and cottage cheese. It’s rich, creamy, and packed with protein, making it a healthier choice while still offering the irresistible flavors you love.
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cup cottage cheese
½ cup Frank's hot sauce (or hot sauce of choice)
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup chopped green onion (plus more for garnish)
¾ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons blue cheese, for topping
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Set aside 2 tablespoons of the shredded cheddar cheese.
In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, hot sauce, remaining cheddar cheese, mozzarella, green onion, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well to combine.
Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe bowl, and place the bowl on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle the reserved cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
Top the dip with blue cheese crumbles and extra green onions for garnish. Serve with chips, carrots, and/or celery.
