Ingredients
2 large tomatoes, de-seeded
1 large English cucumber
1/4 red onion, sliced
3/4 cup full-fat mayonnaise
1/4 cup full-fat sour cream (18% or more if available)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried dill (or double if using fresh dill)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Prepare the Vegetables: Slice the tomatoes and cucumber. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes by cutting into wedges and scooping out the watery portion. Slice the remaining tomato into thin slices.
Prepare the Dressing: In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and dried dill. Stir well to combine and taste for seasoning. Adjust salt and pepper as needed.
Combine and Chill: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Pour the creamy dressing over the vegetables and gently fold to coat.
Chill Before Serving: Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Stir before serving.
