These Honey Garlic Grilled Shrimp Skewers are a quick and flavorful way to enjoy shrimp! With a sweet and slightly spicy marinade of honey, garlic, and lemon, the shrimp are grilled to perfection, making them a delicious meal for any occasion.
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 pounds jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
Lemon wedges, for serving
Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. If using metal skewers, no soaking is needed.
In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, salt, cayenne pepper, and paprika.
Add shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes (no longer than 60 minutes).
Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
