Ingredients:
1 ½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour, spoon and leveled
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup (1 stick / 115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
¼ cup (60mL) vegetable oil
¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 ½ cups (360g) mashed ripe bananas (about 3-4 medium-sized bananas)
1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line the bottom and sides with parchment paper, leaving a bit of parchment hanging over the sides for easy removal. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
Mix in the mashed bananas until fully incorporated.
Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour mixture) and the chocolate chips into the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
