This Sausage and Potatoes Crockpot dish is a comforting, rustic meal that’s as easy to prepare as it is satisfying to eat. The combination of hearty potatoes and savory sausage creates a well-balanced flavor profile, while the slow cooking process allows the spices and juices to meld together perfectly. Onions and seasonings add aromatic depth, while the minimal prep makes this a go-to for busy days. You can use smoked sausage, kielbasa, or even turkey sausage depending on your preference. This dish is ideal for weeknight dinners, potlucks, or anytime you want a warm and hearty meal with minimal effort.
1 ½ lbs smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into rounds
2 lbs potatoes, peeled and chopped into chunks

Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Lightly grease the bottom of your crockpot or spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetables, then sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Layer the sausage slices on top of the potato mixture.
