1 box (12 oz) elbow macaroni or pasta of your choice
1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool the pasta.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, flaked tuna, chopped celery, and red onion.
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve chilled, garnished with extra vegetables or herbs if desired.
