This easy Korean BBQ recipe is made in a slow cooker, using flank steak simmered in a sweet and savory sauce. Serve it over rice for a delicious and tender meal perfect for busy weeknights.
1.5 lbs flank steak
¼ cup cornstarch
2 tbsp sesame oil
½ tsp garlic powder
½ cup soy sauce
¾ cup brown sugar
1 diced onion
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sesame oil, garlic powder, soy sauce, brown sugar, onion, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
Place the flank steak in a slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over the meat.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
