A twist on the classic tiramisu, this dessert features a light sponge cake rolled with mascarpone cream and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients:
1 sponge cake (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions:
Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
Spread mixture over sponge cake, leaving a border.
Place sliced strawberries on top.
Roll cake tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Slide and serve.
