During these Skype therapy sessions I will teach you how to apply mindfulness for working with all forms of anxiety, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder, OCD, depression, and addiction, including alcohol addiction and other emotional problems, by applying the very effective teachings of Mindfulness Therapy.

This approach is extremely effective and most of my clients/students see significant improvements after the first 2-3 sessions with me.

Online Mindfulness-based Skype Psychotherapy is very effective for overcoming anxiety and depression without the need for anti-anxiety medications and antidepressants. It is far better to treat the underlying psychological cause of your emotional pain rather than just suppressing symptoms.

The main healing factors developed during mindfulness-based psychotherapy are Consciousness, which is essential for overcoming the reactive psychological habits that cause anxiety and depression, and Inner Compassion, which is what facilitates healing and resolution of emotional pain.

Everyone that I have worked with really enjoys the mindfulness approach that I teach for healing emotional suffering…

"After only three sessions my anxiety had greatly diminished.  After five sessions I am now having days where I feel completely like my old self-again; it is complete Bliss! This teaching truly makes sense on such a spiritual level, I now know I am going to overcome this and am on the path to complete recovery. I am so grateful for finding Peter! Thank-you so much!"

Skype Counseling Sessions - Overcome Anxiety & Depression through Mindfulness Therapy

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I provide Skype Counseling sessions for the treatment of anxiety and also for the treatment of depression.

Skype counseling sessions are a very good way of getting the help you need for managing the process that produces anxiety and depression.

Many people choose to work online now rather that going to a traditional therapist in an office because it is so much more convenient and also there has been a big change in the general approach to psychotherapy these days, in which we are moving away from that clinical-based approach towards an educational approach, and of course, that works very well online.

Skype counseling is an example where you can effectively learn strategies and methods for overcoming anxiety and depression. I teach Mindfulness Therapy, that is my particular interest, and that works very well online through Skype.

My clients typically suffer from anxiety, that is the most common complaint, but many also are working with overcoming addictions, and I have a few that are struggling with PTSD, for example, or trying to work with overcoming childhood trauma, emotional trauma, and so on.

I also have many clients who come to me specifically for help with driving anxiety; this is quite a problem, especially in the United States. And again, working with a driving anxiety is about learning new methods of working with your mind, working with the anxiety itself, changing the way that you relate to your emotions in particular.

In Mindfulness Therapy you learn how to break free from emotional reactive habits and this is a very direct process, very focused and practical way to work with anxiety whatever the source. I also see many clients with social anxiety, sometimes agoraphobia. And, it's the same thing, what they really need are practical methods for working with anxiety and that is what I offer in these Skype counseling therapy sessions.

If you would like to learn more about my Skype counseling service do please go to my website and simply email me and then we can set up a Skype therapy session for you.

Mindfulness is a remarkable, practical tool for working with difficult emotions and Mindfulness Therapy is, in my opinion, the very best choice there is for working with anxiety.

So, if you would like to learn more, do please go to my website and read more about Skype counseling and we can schedule a Skype counseling session at a time that works for you.

I see people throughout the United States, throughout Western Europe and the United Kingdom and I also have many clients in the Middle East as well. So, please go to my website, learn more about Skype counseling therapy and this approach that I offer and then contact me.

Standard counseling can be helpful, but often it does not transform the habitual psychological process that creates your depression or anxiety.

The same can be said for medications - the antidepressant may provide a temporary relief from symptoms for a while, but medications are not effective for transforming the underlying cause that generates your emotional pain.

The style of psychotherapy that I offer is called Mindfulness Therapy, which is quite successful for controlling chronic anxiety and for treating depression and other emotional issues caused by conditioned negative thinking. Most of my clients see substantial changes after the first couple of sessions of Mindfulness Therapy.

Online Mindfulness-based Skype Counseling Therapy for Anxiety and Depression without relying on anti-anxiety medications or antidepressants

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide online Skype counseling therapy for anxiety and depression and for work with addictions and many other common forms of psychological suffering that are due to habitual reactive thinking.

So the primary way that we go about changing anxiety and depression is by looking for these underlying patterns of habitual reactive thinking. Thinking does not cause anxiety or depression, but when thoughts become reactive, they tend to feed the anxiety and depression very much in the same way that fuel feeds a fire. The fire needs that fuel in order to stay alive. And it's the same for anxiety and depression and most other forms of emotional suffering. They require fuel to keep going. And that fuel is provided in the form of habitual, reactive thoughts.

The issue that most people have is that they're not aware of these thoughts. They're not aware of them in the sense that they have a conscious, objective relationship to these reactive thoughts. The most typical situation is that the reactive thoughts become habitual. They operate subconsciously out of awareness.

So we may be aware of the suffering. We may be aware of the triggers that led to that suffering, but we're not really fully consciously aware of the reactive thoughts that are generated and that feed the underlying anxiety or depression.

So the chief object in mindfulness therapy, which is what I specialize in, is developing a fully conscious relationship with your reactive thoughts so that you can see them very clearly. The more that you can develop objective awareness of your thoughts, the less power they will have to create the underlying anxiety or depression.

So we're training to look at those thoughts and not identify with them. And not believe them, not disbelieve them. It is not necessary to analyze the thoughts. It's not necessary to try and convince yourself that the thoughts are irrational. You're not trying to really get rid of the thoughts. All you are trying to do is cultivate that all-important conscious awareness. When you can see the thoughts, then you have choice.

And so through meditation, you can begin to break the habit of reactive thinking, worrying, rumination and so on that is the real fuel source for the underlying anxiety or depression. When you cut off the fuel source, then you create the right inner environment in which those forms of emotional suffering can heal, Anxiety and depression will heal the moment you stop feeding them with reactive thinking.

You can also increase the rate of healing by developing not only a conscious relationship, a mindful relationship with those thoughts and the emotions, but also developing a relationship based on friendliness and compassion. So you learn to develop a friendly relationship with your anxiety or depression. You develop a friendly relationship with the thoughts that feed that anxiety or depression.

To be friendly means that you are free. That is one of the characteristics of the free mind, the mind that is not identified. It is free. And in that freedom, it can develop those qualities of friendliness and compassion. These are two essential aspects of mindfulness. Mindfulness is the development of direct conscious awareness characterized by friendliness and compassion.

So when you bring that quality of mind to your anxiety or depression that will greatly accelerate the rate of healing. So if you don't feed the fire of anxiety and depression, those emotions will heal by themselves, eventually. But if you add in the ingredients of friendliness and compassion, then you accelerate that rate of healing considerably.

So this is a brief overview of mindfulness therapy. There's a lot more to learn. And I will teach you all about how to apply mindfulness to overcome anxiety and depression during these online Skype therapy sessions.

So if you would like to schedule some online counseling therapy sessions with me, then please go to my website. Send me a request through my contact page. Tell me what times work for you. Tell me more about your particular situation. And we can schedule some sessions and you can see for yourself just how effective both online therapy is and also how effective mindfulness therapy can be for healing emotional suffering.

So please contact me and let's get started.
