Mindfulness Therapy, which is a system of work that I developed in the 1980's incorporates CBT techniques with the addition of mindfulness, and this is another extremely popular process-oriented therapy for the treatment of emotional suffering caused by habitual reactive thinking.

Medications may provide temporary relief from symptoms, but, of course, medications and antidepressants will do nothing to change the underlying psychological process that creates your anxiety or depression.

So being able to do therapy on Skype is very convenient. It's also very effective too, because Skype allows you to see each other, which means that the quality of communication will be much, much higher than other forms of online therapy using e-mail or some form of chat format. You really need to see each other to get the full benefit from online therapy.


So I have developed this system of working with difficult emotions such as anxiety and depression or PTSD and emotional trauma. I also worked a lot with people suffering from OCD and intrusive thoughts or intrusive memories or imagery. And I've developed a system called Mindfulness Therapy, which really works extremely well online and it's very, very effective for giving you practical methods for overcoming your emotional suffering.


So I will be teaching you how to apply mindfulness to work with your emotions during our sessions. I'll be giving you the tools that you can practice yourself between sessions, and that's very important. You want something other than a treatment-based approach like medications, because they don't teach you anything about how to work with your mind. And usually treatments are not really effective in the long run. You need to learn how to work with your emotions more effectively.
