During these Skype sessions of Mindfulness Therapy I will teach you how to use mindfulness for healing all forms of anxiety, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder, OCD, depression, and for help with and other forms of emotional suffering, by applying the very practical methods of Mindfulness Meditation Therapy.

This approach is very effective and most clients experience tangible recovery after 3-4 Skype sessions with me.

Online Mindfulness Psychotherapy is highly effective for managing anxiety and depression without using drugs. It is far better to treat the cause of your emotional suffering instead of just treating symptoms.

The principle healing factors developed during Mindfulness Meditation Therapy are Consciousness, which is necessary for neutralizing the psychological habits that cause emotional suffering, and Inner Compassion, which is what allows healing and resolution of anxiety and depression.

Everyone that I have worked with really likes the mindfulness approach that I teach for healing emotional suffering…

"Working with Peter and developing mindfulness has been instrumental in helping me break from my habitual mental suffering. His form of therapy is effective for many reasons, but primarily I think it's because Peter works with you to help you discover the truth of your suffering for yourself, rather than judging you or telling you - his presence is always calm and kind, and provides a great atmosphere for healing.”

Skype Therapy Counseling Online without using medications

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I'm a professional online therapist and I offer therapy via Skype. Skype therapy is an immensely convenient and also very effective way of working on difficult emotions, including anxiety and depression.

Many of my clients come to me for help with social anxiety disorder and of course I also see lots of people who are suffering from agoraphobia and are not able to leave their house to work with a therapist.

So I would say most people who choose Skype therapy are looking for the greater convenience and independence that it offers. Many of my therapy clients live abroad and don't have access to a local therapist. Others live in rural areas of America or Canada or Australia even where it's difficult to find a local service to work with.

So if you're interested in Skype therapy please go to my website and learn more about this approach.

So mindfulness therapy which is what I offer online via Skype is a very effective way of changing those emotional habits that create anxiety and depression. We do this by breaking free from the blind reactive habit of becoming identified and reactive. This is the central problem that most people face. Thoughts for example, are common triggers that trigger anxiety and what happens is that the instant that the thought arises it instantly triggers the underlying anxiety.

So we work on breaking this compulsive reactive habit so that even if the thought arises you don't have to react with anxiety or depression or any other emotional reaction. We learn to essentially isolate the triggers from the emotional reactions.

This is very, very important indeed for changing anxiety and depression. You have to stop feeding the underlying emotion through reactivity. When you stop feeding it then the emotion will begin a process of what is called "auto-resolution." It will start to change itself if you don't feed it. The analogy here is like a fire. If you stop feeding a fire with fuel then that fire will automatically begin to burn itself out and eventually it will completely burn itself out so there is no fire left at all.

The same principle applies to our emotions. If we stop feeding them through reactivity, through identification, through aversion and through avoidance, if we stop feeding them through these forms of reactivity, then those emotions will also burn themselves out. They will learn to change and resolve themselves. This is a very well demonstrated fact.

So Skype therapy is an exciting option. It's very effective and it is just as effective as talking in-person if you're interested in changing emotional habits like anxiety or depression or OCD or addiction or social anxiety disorder. Any of these kind of emotional habits can be changed very effectively by mindfulness-based Skype therapy. So if you're interested in learning more to go to my website and email me.

Skype Counseling Therapy Service without becoming dependent on drugs

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide online Skype counseling therapy for anxiety and depression and for work with addictions and many other common forms of psychological suffering that are due to habitual reactive thinking.

So the primary way that we go about changing anxiety and depression is by looking for these underlying patterns of habitual reactive thinking. Thinking does not cause anxiety or depression, but when thoughts become reactive, they tend to feed the anxiety and depression very much in the same way that fuel feeds a fire. The fire needs that fuel in order to stay alive. And it's the same for anxiety and depression and most other forms of emotional suffering. They require fuel to keep going. And that fuel is provided in the form of habitual, reactive thoughts.

The issue that most people have is that they're not aware of these thoughts. They're not aware of them in the sense that they have a conscious, objective relationship to these reactive thoughts. The most typical situation is that the reactive thoughts become habitual. They operate subconsciously out of awareness.

So we may be aware of the suffering. We may be aware of the triggers that led to that suffering, but we're not really fully consciously aware of the reactive thoughts that are generated and that feed the underlying anxiety or depression.

So the chief object in mindfulness therapy, which is what I specialize in, is developing a fully conscious relationship with your reactive thoughts so that you can see them very clearly. The more that you can develop objective awareness of your thoughts, the less power they will have to create the underlying anxiety or depression.

So we're training to look at those thoughts and not identify with them. And not believe them, not disbelieve them. It is not necessary to analyze the thoughts. It's not necessary to try and convince yourself that the thoughts are irrational. You're not trying to really get rid of the thoughts. All you are trying to do is cultivate that all-important conscious awareness. When you can see the thoughts, then you have choice.

And so through meditation, you can begin to break the habit of reactive thinking, worrying, rumination and so on that is the real fuel source for the underlying anxiety or depression. When you cut off the fuel source, then you create the right inner environment in which those forms of emotional suffering can heal, Anxiety and depression will heal the moment you stop feeding them with reactive thinking.

You can also increase the rate of healing by developing not only a conscious relationship, a mindful relationship with those thoughts and the emotions, but also developing a relationship based on friendliness and compassion. So you learn to develop a friendly relationship with your anxiety or depression. You develop a friendly relationship with the thoughts that feed that anxiety or depression.

To be friendly means that you are free. That is one of the characteristics of the free mind, the mind that is not identified. It is free. And in that freedom, it can develop those qualities of friendliness and compassion. These are two essential aspects of mindfulness. Mindfulness is the development of direct conscious awareness characterized by friendliness and compassion.

So when you bring that quality of mind to your anxiety or depression that will greatly accelerate the rate of healing. So if you don't feed the fire of anxiety and depression, those emotions will heal by themselves, eventually. But if you add in the ingredients of friendliness and compassion, then you accelerate that rate of healing considerably.

So this is a brief overview of mindfulness therapy. There's a lot more to learn. And I will teach you all about how to apply mindfulness to overcome anxiety and depression during these online Skype therapy sessions.

So if you would like to schedule some online counseling therapy sessions with me, then please go to my website. Send me a request through my contact page. Tell me what times work for you.
