Online Therapy for Bulimia via Skype

Online Mindfulness Therapist over Skype for Controlling Bulimia & Binge Eating Disorder without using medications

Online Psychotherapist - Talk to a Therapist Online over Skype for effective online treatment for Anxiety and Depression, Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety Disorder and Agoraphobia, Addictions, Eating Disorders and other psychological and emotional problems, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Email me to find out more about this online psychotherapy service and arrange for a therapy session with me.

This approach is very effective and most of my clients/students see noticeable improvements after 3-4 Skype sessions with me. The key is to develop a mindful and compassionate relationship with the underlying emotional pain that is the root cause of bulimia and other eating disorders. We have to heal that inner void directly; food can never do that.

Online Mindfulness-based Skype Psychotherapy is extremely effective for managing anxiety and depression without relying on anti-anxiety medications and antidepressants. Treat the root cause of your emotional pain rather than just trying to manage symptoms.

Everyone that I have worked with really benefits from the Mindfulness Therapy approach that I teach for healing emotional suffering…

"Having visited with many-a-therapist in the past, Dr. Strong stands out as a genuinely good listener and offers pointed and intuitive responses in return, that are real, constructive, and compassionate. His caring, non-judgmental, nature is apparent and has aided me in the healing process.”

Online Therapy for Eating Disorders via Skype

Talk to an online therapist for help with your recovery from bulimia nervosa

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional psychotherapist. I offer Online Therapy via Skype for a range of emotional problems such as anxiety and depression, but also for addictions, including food addiction, Bulimia or other forms of overeating disorders.

Online Therapy for Bulimia and Binge Eating is becoming more and more popular these days. It's partly because of the convenience, and also because there is a great deal of stigma associated with overeating disorders and addictions in general. People like the idea of being able to have sessions in the comfort and privacy of their own home.

The style of therapy that I offer is called Mindfulness Therapy, which, basically, teaches you how to work with emotions so that you don't become overwhelmed by them. It's about learning how to form a relationship with your emotions that facilitates their healing. If you become lost in your emotions, overwhelmed by them, or reactive towards your emotions, of course, that simply feeds them and stops them healing. But, when you can learn to sit mindfully with an emotion, then that emotion will heal. That's one of the core principles of Mindfulness Therapy, and this works very well.

So, during the online therapy sessions for binge eating or other food addiction, I will teach you hoe to work with the compulsive parts of the emotional problem, but also with the underlying core emotions, the underlying feeling of deep need or emptiness that feeds the compulsive emotions. This really requires healing and this is where Mindfulness Therapy works at it's best.
