Mindfulness Therapy is just a very good choice indeed for working with anxiety because it focuses on teaching you practical methods for overcoming anxiety, depression and other reactive emotional habits.


It is really important that you work at the underlying level, the process itself that causes your emotional suffering. Talking about your emotional problems brings some temporary relief but it is not going to change these underlying emotional habits.
