Mindfulness-based Skype Therapy - Counseling via Skype for Anxiety & Depression

The primary focus of Mindfulness Therapy is to treat the underlying psychological cause of your anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, stress, PTSD and emotional trauma and other forms of psychological pain rather than just trying to manage symptoms through medication.

Almost everyone who seeks my help has already tried medication or conventional counseling and are definitely looking for an alternative approach, a more holistic approach that focuses on healing rather than just trying to reduce symptoms. We want to be FREE from anxiety and depression, not just endlessly try to manage symptoms.

Everyone that I have worked with really enjoys the Mindfulness Therapy approach that I teach for healing emotional suffering…

"I realized that anxiety disorders and depression were not a disease that I needed to attack. I needed to change the way I reacted to my thoughts and emotions and view life in a different way."

How to start Skype Therapy for Help with Anxiety & Depression

Contact me via email to schedule a Skype therapy session.

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I'm a professional psychotherapist specializing in Mindfulness Therapy which I offer online over Skype.

So if you would like to learn how to start Skype Therapy to help you overcome your anxiety or depression or other emotional problems then please reach out to me by e-mail. Tell me more about yourself and how I can help you and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about Skype Therapy.

People like online therapy in general because it's so much more convenient. It means you can organize your sessions from home. You don't have to leave home to go to a therapist's office, and this can be very beneficial.

So I see lots of people who suffer from agoraphobia, and I also see quite a few people who suffer from driving phobia and difficulty with driving in general. But I also have quite a few clients such as stay at home mums or the elderly or people who generally find it difficult to leave home for whatever reason.

So online therapy has a lot of great advantages. And as long as you use Skype or similar video format then the Skype Therapy sessions are really no different than talking with a therapist in person. It's really important that you can see each other. That makes the communication more effective and equivalent to meeting in person.

Another reason why people like Skype Therapy is because it feels more comfortable in general. It is far less intimidating than going to a clinic or a therapist's office.

It's also more private too and that's another feature that many people like. When you're dealing with difficult emotional problems, or maybe an addiction, it's often difficult to talk about this in public. It's easier for you to talk in private, and of course talking to to me through Skype offers you that degree of privacy.

So if you would like to learn more about Skype Therapy and the Mindfulness Therapy approach that I specialize in, do please email me.

All you need to start Skype Therapy is a laptop, tablet or even an iPhone, which has her Skype installed on it, and you need a reasonably good internet connection, which is usually not a problem these days. And you need a quiet place in which to conduct your therapy sessions.

So during the Skype Therapy sessions I will teach you how to work with your emotions using mindfulness. Now you may have heard about mindfulness. It's a very very interesting area. It's been around many hundreds of years, of course, and traces back to the teachings of the Buddha. But now we are discovering how to apply mindfulness in overcoming emotional suffering. And it works extremely well when working with anxiety or depression or for managing the painful and compulsive emotions that are associated with an addiction.

I have also developed a number of mindfulness-based techniques for working with PTSD that are proving very successful indeed. These include techniques like mindfulness-based imagery reprocessing, where you can effectively decrease the intensity of a flashback memory by changing the way that you see that scene in the mind.

So working with imagery is actually a very important part of working with emotions in general. Even anxiety and depression has associated internal imagery and this is why we often feel overwhelmed when we are struggling with chronic anxiety or depression. Literally, that's because the emotion is very large and we see it above us in our internal imagery. That's why we use that term, "feeling overwhelmed.".

Another part of Mindfulness Therapy has to do with trying to change your relationship to your emotions and thoughts as well. This is very important because our habit is to become completely lost in our emotions or thoughts. We become identified with them and when you become identified with them then this leads to emotional suffering.

So if you'd like to learn more please email me and schedule a Skype Therapy session. Thank you.

Standard counseling can be beneficial, but often common talk therapy does not alter the underlying psychological process that is the real cause of your depression or anxiety.

This also applies to the use of medications - the antidepressant may provide a temporary relief from symptoms for a while, but medications are not going to change the underlying process that produces the emotional pain.

The type of psychotherapy that I teach online is known as Mindfulness Therapy, which can be quite powerful for overcoming anxiety as well as for treating chronic depression or other emotional problems resulting from conditioned negative thinking. Most people see significant reduction in the level of anxiety and depression after the first couple of sessions of Mindfulness Therapy.

Online Therapist for Anxiety Disorders

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide online therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression, OCD and many other common emotional psychological problems. As an online therapist for anxiety I specialize in teaching mindfulness skills for managing the anxiety and the reactive thinking that supports the anxiety.

Mindfulness therapy is extremely effective for helping you break free from those automatic habitual patterns of reactive thinking that fuel anxiety and panic attacks and other anxiety disorders. When we learn how to apply mindfulness we actually learn to sit with our emotions, we learn to meditate on our emotions. So, I will teach you exactly how to do this, how to sit with your anxiety, how to meditate on your anxiety, without becoming overwhelmed by it and without becoming reactive. This is the essential training that's needed to change the habits of reactive anxiety.

The real problem is that we simply are not conscious of this habit of becoming caught up in reactive thinking we get lost in patterns of worrying, of rumination and excessive thinking, which simply feeds the anxiety. But with mindfulness training you learn how to become an observer. You learn how to sit with the emotions and with the thoughts without becoming lost in them, without becoming overwhelmed by them, without becoming essentially controlled by your emotions or your thoughts. This process it isn't quite easy to learn if you get good guidance. You have to learn how to meditate on your emotions. Common mindfulness meditation practices usually involve meditating on the breath and this is a good relaxation exercise, but it will not really help you with your anxiety.

You have to meditate on the cause of your anxiety, which is your relationship to your emotions and your thoughts. If that relationship is unconscious then your emotions and thoughts will govern you, you will be controlled by them. They'll be little choice.

But once you start to develop more consciousness around the anxiety and the thoughts then you begin to break free from them. You begin to neutralize the effects of emotions and thoughts on you.

If you'd like to learn more about mindfulness therapy and you'd like to schedule a session with me as an Online Therapist for anxiety to help you, then please go to my website and send me an email, and we can schedule Skype therapy session at a time that works for you.

Talk to a psychotherapist online for help with depression

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional online therapist. I provide online therapy for depression, anxiety, stress, addictions and other emotional problems.

Now, online treatment for depression is a very good choice, especially if you live in a rural area where you might find it difficult to find a local therapist to work with. For most people, the online depression treatment option is a good choice and especially if you are suffering from the more conventional forms of depression that we face in society. Of course, if you are suffering from a clinical form of depression then you should consult your doctor for appropriate treatment.

But, for most people, what constitutes good treatment for depression is to learn better strategies for working with the underlying causes of that depression: Things like reactive thinking and unresolved emotional issues that fuel the depression. And for this, there are many successful forms of psychotherapies that will help you.

The style of therapy that I offer for the treatment of depression is called Mindfulness Therapy, and this is a very good way of resolving those underlying core emotions as well as neutralizing those habitual patterns of reactive thinking that sustain and feed depression.

So, if you are interested in online treatment for your depression, please contact me through my website. Let's discuss whether this a good option for you. The we can schedule a Skype session of depression treatment online. So, please visit my website and contact me.

ONLINE MINDFULNESS THERAPY FOR DEPRESSION

Depression has many forms, and you should think of it as a spectrum of emotion ranging from mild mood changes on one end to clinical depression at the other end, which may require medical intervention. You should always consult a doctor id you are suffering from clinical depression.

However, most people suffer from milder forms of depression that represent the difficulty in adjusting to the many stresses and challenges of life in combination with emotional problems experienced during childhood. Problems from our relationship to our parents, potential emotional and physical abuse create the foundations for depression for many people. You do not necessarily have an illness if you are depressed, you may simply be having a hard time adjusting to trauma or difficult core emotions relating to self-image and poor self-esteem.

For many, depression is more of a dysfunctional habit; the product of negative habitual patterns of thinking, negative beliefs and destructive patterns of behavior, including addictions. The good news is that habits can be changed, and Mindfulness Therapy is one of the most effective ways of working with the underlying core emotions that cause your depression.

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I'm a professional psychotherapist and I offer online therapy for anxiety and also online therapy for depression. If you'd like to talk to a psychotherapist online for depression then please go to my website. Learn more about this this online service that I provide and then simply e-mail me, ask any questions you may have about online therapy and how the approach that I use can help you overcome your depression.

I teach mindfulness therapy. That's my specialty and that's what I describe in my book, The Path of Mindfulness Meditation. I find mindfulness therapy to be probably the most effective approach that I know for overcoming depression and also for treating anxiety disorders and any other form of emotional suffering.

There are two basic concepts in mindfulness therapy that make it so effective for treating depression.

The first is that we learn how to change our relationship to the depression itself. The real problem for most people is that whenever depression gets triggered by events or by thoughts or other triggers we simply become totally identified or consumed by the emotion and depression.

This is called reactive identification and this is this the central problem that we tackle during mindfulness therapy. We learn to break this blind habit of identifying with the depression or with anxiety too. We learn to develop a position as the observer of the emotion. This is quite important because when you can strengthen the ability to stay as the observer then you essentially free your self from the grip of the depression, learning to be the opposite of depression instead of becoming overwhelmed by the depression. That's the central focus of mindfulness therapy.

The second part of mindfulness therapy is very much concerned with looking at the structure of reactive thinking, or rumination that feeds the emotion. So thoughts do not cause depression, but thoughts will feed it if we also become identified with those thoughts and beliefs and memories and other mental content. In the same way we need to develop a mindful relationship with thoughts, we need to break free from the habit of becoming overwhelmed by rumination.

In this way we get more and more freedom from the depression, itself, the emotion, and the thoughts that feed the emotion, and this is what leads to the resolution and healing of depression, also anxiety and other forms of emotional suffering.

If you'd like to learn more about how mindfulness therapy can help you with your depression and you are interested in talking to a psychotherapists online through Skype then please send me an e-mail and let's schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you.

Best online therapy for managing OCD and intrusive-obsessive thinking

Online Mindfulness Psychotherapist via Skype for Stopping Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Intrusive Overthinking without relying on drugs

Welcome. So I provide online therapy for the treatment of OCD. If you're looking for an online therapist for OCD and you would like help in overcoming intrusive, obsessive thoughts using the techniques of mindfulness therapy which I teach online via Skype, then do please contact me.

Reach out to me through the Contact Page. Tell me more about yourself and ask any questions you may have about the online therapy program that I teach for overcoming OCD.

When you are selecting an online therapist to work with for an anxiety disorder like OCD it is very important that you use Skype so that you can see each other. If you can see each other, then that will improve the quality of communication substantially. It's not necessary to be in the same room as your therapist, but it is very important that you see each other. This will make the therapy sessions much more effective.

So during our online Skype Therapy sessions together, I'll be teaching you how to work with intrusive thoughts using the techniques of Mindfulness Therapy, and the central methodology that we use for breaking free from the influence of reactive intrusive thinking is to learn how to meditate on your reactive thoughts.

The worst thing you can do is fall into a habit of avoidance, trying to run away from your intrusive thoughts, trying to suppress them. That will simply feed those intrusive thoughts because any reaction based on avoidance is basically fear-based. It's a fear based reaction and that will add to the fear, which is the most common emotion that is fueling your intrusive thoughts. If you want to break free from an intrusive and obsessive thoughts, you need to heal and resolve the emotion that is fueling those thoughts.

Thoughts only become intrusive when they have a strong emotional charge. And that's what we have to neutralize. And that's what I will teach you during Mindfulness Therapy.

We learn to meditate on our intrusive thoughts. That means that we consciously bring them into awareness and then we train with them. The training is about learning how to stay with the thought without becoming reactive and without becoming overwhelmed by the fear that accompanies the intrusive thought. This takes training and mindfulness meditation, is training with the mind to resolve suffering and promote freedom.

So you meditate on the thought. This is how you can achieve freedom. You can not achieve freedom by avoidance. But you can achieve freedom from the influence of those thoughts if you meditate on them.

So you train to sit with the thoughts and not react. You then respond to the underlying emotion, which is usually fear, but it could be other emotions like guilt or shame or anger or trauma.

We learn to respond to these emotions with mindfulness, with full conscious presence, accompanied by compassion. Mindfulness is the combination of conscious awareness and compassion. They are both present in mindfulness. Compassion means interacting with that fear in a way that helps it resolve.

So you're training to resolve the fear that is the fuel for those intrusive thought. When that fear is resolved, then the thoughts will no longer be intrusive. They will essentially just disappear because they are no longer relevant. They will be naturally replaced by other thoughts that are more relevant and probably more positive, because they are not based on fear.

So what keeps intrusive thoughts in the mind is that underlying emotional charge, the fear itself. Heal the fear and the thoughts will subside.

So this is part of what I'll teach you during our Skype therapy sessions together. This approach of learning to meditate on your intrusive thoughts or obsessive thoughts is very, very powerful. And most people see very welcome improvements within a very short time, usually within three or four sessions.

I will teach you the methods of how to work with your intrusive thoughts and obsessive thoughts using mindfulness. You will take these methods and practice them at home between sessions. This is what makes all the difference in your recovery from OCD.

If you'd like to schedule online therapy with me for your obsessive compulsive disorder or intrusive thoughts, then please contact me so we can schedule a Skype Therapy session.

PTSD Non-medical treatment - Online Mindfulness Therapy via Skype for PTSD

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong. I am a professional online therapist specializing in Mindfulness Therapy for the treatment of anxiety, for the treatment of depression and also for helping you overcome post traumatic stress disorder and help you recover from traumas as well.

So PTSD and emotional trauma simply refers to very intense emotional experiences that the brain is not able to process by itself automatically. We need to process it by some form of psychotherapy. Medications have a place for controlling symptoms of PTSD but medications are not sufficient to treat the underlying psychological process that creates your emotional trauma or associated emotions like guilt or shame or anxiety or depression.

So if you're looking for a non medical approach if you're looking to treat your PTSD without using medications then I would advise you to take a look at my websites and learn a little more about how Mindfulness Therapy can help you overcome your PTSD.

During online therapy sessions. I will teach you how to work with the traumatic memories through a process called mindfulness-based imagery processing, and also to work with the associated core emotions such as anxiety, panic attacks, and depression that are associated with emotional trauma, and that we call mindfulness-based emotion reprocessing.

The key to working with trauma is to actually develop a stable and non-reactive relationship with the traumatic memory.

That's the first step. We have to reprocess that memory and we do this by actually meditating on the memory itself and developing more and more consciousness around that memory. The real issue is the fact that we tend to react to the memory unconsciously and we tend to identify with the memory unconsciously. We become overwhelmed by it we become controlled by it. We relive that memory, essentially.

So by meditating on the memory, the traumatic event, you're actually learning to change that conditioned unconscious process to a conscious relationship. That is critical. Otherwise we are simply again to relive and re traumatize ourselves and that will simply feeds the PTSD.

So we build a conscious relationship with the emotional trauma we then began to explore the imagery of that trauma.

So emotional trauma is created by internal psychological imagery. It might be as simple as the memory itself, the memory image with intense details and color and clarity of the image. That is what actually creates the emotional trauma. It becomes very real because of the detail and sharpness of that memory image.

So when we begin to explore how the imagery works, we look at these details, we can begin to change that imagery.

When you change emotional imagery, you change the emotion.

So that's one very simple and it is something that you can even try yourself. But I will teach you how to do this in great detail.

There are many other ways we can work with this imagery and I'll explain this to you as we explore how to reprocess your emotional memory.

The other part of working with PTSD is working with the associated emotions: the anxiety, the guilt, the depression, whatever it might be. That emotional content also needs to be processed. And we do that and very much the same way.

We first built a conscious relationship with the emotion itself, seeing it as an object in the mind in a similar way that we would see the memory image has an object in the mind. So that's the first thing. Being able to meditate on the emotion without becoming reactive and without identifying with it.

The emotion will also have its associated imagery, which may be different than the memory image and may be more abstract in nature, but all emotions have associated imagery, and the same rules apply. When you change that imagery you change the emotion.

So we work on establishing a non-reactive relationship that doesn't feed the depression or anxiety. And then we look at helping that emotional imagery change, and when it changes sufficiently then the depression or anxiety is resolved.

If you'd like to learn more to please go to my website and then reach out to me by email. So this is a non-medical approach, it does not use medications. It basically helps you change the underlying psychological process that causes your PTSD.

Stress is a conditioned habit. We learn to react to situations, people, thoughts, memories, beliefs and expectations emotionally by becoming irritated, angry or upset. We believe that stress is an inevitable consequence of the challenges of life, that its cause is external. But this is erroneous, it is a delusion. We create stress through our blind conditioned reactivity. Stress is a learned reaction, which means it can be un-learned.

There is absolutely no law that says that you have to react with stress, irritation or anger. Stress is JUST A HABIT – and HABITS CAN BE CHANGED!

Old style talk therapy can be helpful, but often it does not alter the the underlying process that is the real cause of your emotional stress, depression or anxiety.

The same can be said for medications - drugs may provide a temporary relief from symptoms for a while, but medications are not able to heal the underlying cause that generates your emotional suffering and stress. That underlying process is psychological in nature and requires a psychological approach to bring about significant change.

The kind of psychotherapy that I provide is called Mindfulness Therapy, which can be noticeably successful for handling emotional stress, including all forms of anxiety as well as for treating depression or other emotional difficulties caused by conditioned negative thinking. Most of my clients report measurable reduction in the level of anxiety and depression after the first few sessions of psychotherapy via Skype.

Go to my website and email me to discover more about this online counseling service and to arrange for a therapy session with me.

The many techniques offered during online sessions of Mindfulness Therapy will teach you exactly how to undo the "stress habit", allowing you to find more balance and happiness in your life.

Everyone that I have worked with really enjoys the mindfulness approach that I teach for healing emotional suffering…

"I can’t write enough how grateful I am that I had a chance to learn how to take control of my overwhelming OCD symptoms under the guidance of Peter."

Talk to an Online Psychotherapist for Help with Addiction

If you'd like to talk to an online therapist for help with an addiction, whether that's a problem with alcohol or other form of substance abuse, or any other form of addiction, then do please go to my website and learn more about how online mindfulness therapy can help you overcome an addiction.

This service is available worldwide. All you need is a good internet connection and the latest download of Skype and also PayPal to make online payments after each session and you're ready to starts.

Online therapy and especially the mindfulness approach that I teach is very effective indeed for helping you manage your emotions - the underlying emotions that cause your addiction. So addiction is almost always fuelled by underlying core emotions. That might be depression, it may be guilt or shame or stress or a feeling of helplessness. Whatever it is, there is usually an underlying emotion that is fueling the compulsive impulses that fuel the addiction.

So a very important part of mindfulness therapy is learning how to change the way that we relate to these emotions so that we can help them heal, so that we can help the underlying depression or whatever it might be here to heal. And this we do by actually focusing mindfulness on those emotions. We learn to meditate on our emotions, to build a friendly and conscious relationship with that part of ourselves that is in pain. This is, I would say, an absolute requirement for healing. If you really want to heal the underlying cause of your addiction you must establish this kind of quality of relationship with your underlying core emotions that are fueling the addiction. So that's a big part of the mindfulness approach to healing addiction.

Another part is actually learning to become more mindful of your relationship to the alcohol or other substance itself. So this is where we actually learn how to drink mindfully the way you will essentially mindfully meditate on, for example, a drink of whiskey or whatever you put in front of you. It could be food as well. Many people develop an addiction towards foods also based in the same way on an underlying core emotion of need.

So we learn to meditate on those impulsive impulses as well as the underlying core emotions. And this is what makes the mindfulness approach to addiction recovery so powerful. So if you would like to learn more unto you'd like to schedule a therapy session via Skype with me to work on your addiction, do please contact me through my website and then we can schedule a Skype Therapy session and get started on recovery.

Most people see quite dramatic changes after three or four sessions of mindfulness therapy. And this is because it is so direct and so practical and so focused on the underlying issues that are causing your addiction. So please contact me and I look forward to helping you overcome your addiction. Thank you.

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist and I offer Skype therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression.

Now, Skype therapy is a way of really by-passing the medical approach to treating anxiety or depression or other emotional difficulties that you may be experiencing. Skype therapy does not involve the use of medications and it not a treatment based approach at all. In fact, the whole purpose of Skype therapy is really focusing on teaching you specific practical methods for overcoming the underlying process that causes your anxiety or depression.

Anxiety and depression are, at the end of the day, psychological processes, and you need psychological means to change these habitual processes. Prescription medications may alleviate symptoms but they will not treat the underlying process that creates the anxiety or depression.

So, the Skype therapy that I have developed is based on Mindfulness Therapy, which is a very effective way of working with anxiety and depression without the need for medications.

We look at the underlying process itself, and this involves primarily, changing your relationship to your emotions. This is the central most important factor in successful recovery from chronic anxiety disorders or chronic depression.

You have to change the way that you relate to your emotions. The habitual way we relate to emotions is typically that we become overwhelmed by them. We become identified, blindly, with our emotions and our thoughts and our beliefs. This is what really sustains anxiety and depression.

We have to change this habit of identification, and this is what we learn how to do during mindfulness therapy sessions.

So, if you would like to learn more about how to work with your anxiety or depression without using medications, and you are interested in working with a Skype therapist like myself, do please go to my website and email me to schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you!

Skype Therapy – Effective Psychotherapy for Anxiety & Depression

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong. I'm a professional psychotherapist specializing in Mindfulness Therapy and I offer online Skype Therapy for the treatment of anxiety and online Skype Therapy for help with depression and many other common psychological problems that do not require medication.

Most of my clients have tried medications for their anxiety or depression or OCD or other emotional problems without much success. And there's a reason for this, because medications do nothing to change the underlying cause of your anxiety or depression. The underlying cause is primarily psychological in nature.

Even if there is a chemical imbalance in the body, that chemical imbalance is nothing more than a trigger that triggers the psychological reaction. If there is any underlying biochemical or physiological problems then you should consult with your doctor, but generally this is quite rare and most of my clients come to me after trying medication and they simply want something better, that actually addresses the problem rather than just covering up the symptoms. And that's what I offer during online Skype Therapy.

I teach mindfulness-based methods for working with emotional suffering such as anxiety or depression or intrusive thoughts or addictions or many other difficult psychological problems that we all face at one time or another.

It's really learning how to work with these emotional habits and how to start developing a conscious and mindful relationship with your emotions and with your thoughts and also with your memories, including traumatic memories, too. I offer online Skype Therapy for PTSD as well as anxiety and depression.

The most important thing is building a conscious and mindful relationship with your mind. Most of the time we don't do that you simply run away from our emotional pain or we react by becoming identified with our emotional pain, which simply feeds it, or we react with aversion to our emotional pain, which also prevents it healing.

The only way that the psychological habit that creates anxiety or depression can heal is when we create a friendly and conscious relationship with our emotions and thoughts. And this is the principle focus of Mindfulness Therapy, and I will teach you how to apply mindfulness for working with your emotions.

This approach is very effective, in deed. And I've been teaching Mindfulness Therapy for over ten years now and the number of people who have benefited from this approach is quite surprising and very satisfying for me.

Because once you learn how to apply mindfulness you become able to manage your emotions much more effectively than you could ever learn by a treatment-based approach, like medications.

So, if you'd like to learn more about online Skype Therapy and you'd like to schedule Skype Therapy sessions with me, then please go to my website, learn more about this approach, and then of course e-mail me if you have any questions.

If you would like to start online Skype Therapy with me, then please contact me and let's schedule a therapy session via Skype, and you'll see yourself within the first two to three sessions, just how effective it is when you start to change the way that you relate to your emotions using mindfulness.

During Skype therapy I will teach you how to manage anxiety and depression more effectively using the techniques of Mindfulness Therapy that I developed over 20 years ago and which work extremely well for most people, and without the need for anti-anxiety or antidepressant medications.

Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I specialize in online therapy via Skype. Skype therapy is a very effective way of dealing with many common psychological, emotional problems including anxiety and depression. I also work with addictions and other forms of compulsive disorders. Of course, Skype therapy is suitable only if you do not require medical treatment for your condition, but most psychological and emotional conditions respond extremely well to psychotherapy that does not use medications and this can be delivered over Skype just as effectively as in-person.

So if you are interested in effective treatment for anxiety via Skype then please go to my website and learn more about the mindfulness approach that I offer via Skype, and contact me if you have any questions about Skype therapy. If you would like to schedule a session please let me know and we will find a time that works for you.

So the whole basis of the mindfulness therapy approach that I offer via Skype is about teaching you how to change the relationship that you have with your anxiety or depression. The relationship is the central most important thing that determines whether you become a victim of anxiety or depression or whether you can facilitate the healing of anxiety or depression. The real problem is what we call reactive identification whereby we simply become consumed by our emotions. We contract into the emotion and we take on the identity of the emotion. So when you say, "I am afraid" you literally become the fear. In the mindfulness training that I offer we learn to break this habit, the primary cause of your anxiety. Instead, we learn to see the fear or the depression or the anxiety as an object in the mind.

It is essential you break the habit of becoming identified with it. When you do that you stop feeding the emotion, you stop fueling it through reactive thinking and other forms that reactivity that we also become identified with. It is very, very important that you learn to establish a relationship that is non-reactive with your emotions. This creates the right internal conditions whereby the emotions begin to heal and change themselves, and anxiety will change if you stop identifying with it and stop reacting to it. It takes in training but its really quite simple, and when you take this very direct approach to working with anxiety, depression you'll be quite surprised at how fast things change.

So if you learn more about Skype therapy and how to effectively treat anxiety without using medications, then please email me and schedule a Skype therapy session.
