Combination Therapy
Studies combining bisphosphonates with HRT or teraparatide have demonstrated additive improvement in BMD, but no evidence exists regarding fracture reduction. Combination therapy is sometimes recommended for patients at high risk of fracture or who are at high risk from cumulative fractures.
