Hemostasis and Wound Closure

If wound less than 4mm in diameter, then use pressure or aluminium chloride applied with cotton-tipped swab will control hemostasis (for more information see Shave Excision > Hemostasis). Otherwise, close with single interrupted non-absorbable stitch (for more information see Elliptical Excision > Close Wound).
