Atrophic Endometrium
This finding is generally reassuring, but should not cause uterine bleeding. The presence of atrophic endometrium implies inadequate estrogenic stimulation. Often EMB samples are scant or inadequate. The diagnosis of endometrial atrophy can be confirmed by thin (less that 5mm) endometrium on transvaginal ultrasound.
