Now that you have learned about various types of meditation tecniques, you can return to the main part of the module.

This practice involves taking one word (such as "Om") and repeating it silently over and over. Mantra meditation is popular with yoga teachers and others who practice Eastern religious techniques. Practitioners claim that mantra meditation uses the sound of the mantra to help clear the mind and induce a significant relaxation response. It is simple to learn and can be practiced after just minutes of instruction.
