The Anterior Drawer Test assesses for anterior talofibular (ATF) ligament stability. With the foot slightly plantarflexed, brace the shin and pull heel anteriorly. Laxity or poor endpoint on anterior translation is a positive test and indicative of an ATF ligament injury.
