Post-Operative Bleeding
Post-operative bleeding is almost always the same or less than what the patient was experiencing pre-procedure. There is a theoretical risk that the patient will bleed more heavily and even require further intervention such as surgery or transfusion. The patient should be instructed to call if her bleeding worsens or persists.
