Patient Experience
Treatments are performed on a massage table in a quiet, relaxing room, often with soft music playing.
Most patients only feel slight pressure or a mild pinch upon needle insertion.
Initially, an ache will occur at the needle site signifying the 'arrival of the chi,' called 'De Chi.'
Usually acclimation to the needles occurs within minutes, and their presence is no longer felt.
Due to opoid and neurotransmitter release, a state of relaxation is induced in most patients. Many are suprised by the calming 'side effect' of the treatment.
