Level I:

• • First-time users of this unit should start with the video in Evaluation of the Foot and Ankle to review the basics of the foot and ankle exam.

  • You may also review the pictures of anatomy to help with your exam.

  • The toolbox also contains a review of the specific exam maneuvers and a template of how to document your exam.

  • Once you are comfortable with the exam, you may consider moving on to Part II below.

Level II:

• • Now that you are comfortable with the foot and ankle exam, you may review common causes for foot and ankle pain by using the lists in Evaluation of the Foot and Ankle. Each diagnosis reviews the common presentation, tests and treatment for the condition.
