What is Guided Imagery?
Guided Imagery is a mind-body modality:
Intentional generation of mental images (sensations) to evoke a psychophysiological state of relaxation or a specific outcome
Draws upon the connection between the mind and body
Takes conscious control over the imagination and guides it in a desired direction for desired outcomes
