Demulcent, offers mucoprotection of esophagus and stomach
Side Effects:
Patients should not take ginger supplements if they have:
Gallstones or gallbladder disease
Diabetes
Heart disease
A clotting disorder requiring aspirin, warfarin or heparin
Available Forms:
Actual root, powder, tablets, tincture
Recommended dose is up to 250mg, three to four times daily
