Some patients may need more assistance with their nutrition needs. We have many excellent resources and nutritionists at the University of Michigan.
Nutrition Counseling Centers: Outpatient services are provided to patients of all ages to address a variety of disorders, including obesity, diabetes, hypertension, renal disease, gluten intolerance as well prenatal nutrition.
Cardiovascular Medicine Nutrition Services: The cardiovascular clinic at Domino's Farms in Ann Arbor, Mich., offers comprehensive care, including nutrition services.
Pediatric Comprehensive Weight Management Center: This program is designed to help overweight and obese children and teens achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
The Hunger Within Workshop: This is an intense 12-week workshop lead by Marilyn Migliore, the author of the book The Hunger Within. The book and workshop help people work on permanent weight loss by examining the psychological reasons for overeating.
