Mechanism of Action:
One theory is that GERD is caused from a deficiency in stomach acid. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) mimics the normal gastric acid level to promote digestion and thus treat GERD and dyspepsia symptoms
Detoxifies and purifies various organs in the body, breaking down fatty, mucous, and phlegm deposits within the body and improving the health and function of kidneys, bladder, and liver
May have psychosomatic effects in some patients
Side Effects:
May worsen GERD and dyspepsia symptoms
Available Forms:
Unfiltered, organic ACV is the preferred form, known as "mother of vinegar"
One to two teaspoons prior to each meal three times daily
