Case

Ms. F, a 32-year-old G2P1 at 34 weeks estimated gestational age (EGA) comes to you for help. She is now 240 pounds, and is having a lot of swelling of her ankles and wrists during this pregnancy. You have ruled out pre-eclampsia, and you know that she does not have renal or heart failure. What can you recommend for her, other than pharmacological diuretics?
