Follow Up

Support is essential. Giving someone a prescription and seeing them back in six months may work on occasion but is much more likely to be successful if you can provide close follow up. This can take the form of an office visit, or may simply involve a phone call from your office staff. Such contact gives you an opportunity to provide positive feedback, modify the plan as necessary and anticipate future needs.
