Insomnia Recommended Remedies

Suggestions:

  • Walk outside during the day as much as possible

  • Snack before bed

  • Calcium supplementation

  • Avoid sugar and caffeine

  • Sleep hygiene (routine)

  • Extra pillows

  • Chamomile tea

  • Valerian root tincture mixed with hot water, drink before bed (not for more than seven nights in a row) (natural sedative) - limited data in pregnancy.
