White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

What you need:

    • 2 1/4 cups flour
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 cup light brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1 pkg (12 oz.) white chocolate chips
    • 1 to 2 cups macadamia nuts, chopped (I found these in the beer aisle!)

Directions:

    1. Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
    2. In a mixer, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    4. Stir in dry ingredients until incorporated.
    5. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts.
    6. On a lined baking sheet, add cookie dough - I like to use my handy dandy scooper.
    7. In a preheated 375-degree oven, bake cookies for 9 to 12 minutes, turning sheet halfway through cooking.
    8. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and cool.
