My Favorite Meatloaf

What you need:

    • 1 cup milk
    • 6 slices bread
    • 2 lb. ground beef
    • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
    • 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
    • 3/4 tsp. salt
    • Ground pepper
    • 1/3 cup minced parsley
    • 4 eggs, beaten
    • 10 slices bacon

Directions:

    1. Pour milk over bread in a bowl. Let soak for about 5 minutes.
    2. Add ground beef, Parmesan, seasoned salt, salt, pepper, parsley, and eggs.
    3. Mix together until combined. Form into a loaf on a baking sheet or broiler pan (bottom lined with aluminum foil).
    4. Place bacon over top, overlapping, and tucking underneath.
    5. Bake at 350* for 1 hour. Let rest 15 minutes before slicing.
