Fried Mozzarella
What you need:
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan
- 2 lb. mozzarella
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 cups Panko
- 2 cups flour
- Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
- Mix together Panko, salt, and Parmesan in a bowl.
- Whisk together eggs and milk in a separate bowl.
- Place flour in a third bowl.
- Drain and dry mozzarella.
- Roll mozzarella in flour, then egg mixture, then Panko mixture. Then repeat through the flour, egg, and Panko a second time.
- Heat oil to 350* in a pot and fry cheese in batches for 45 seconds each batch.
- Serve with marinara.
