Spanish Rice
What you need:
- 1 (15 oz.) can of corn, drained
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2/3 cup green pepper, diced
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes - I used diced tomatoes
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Cook ground beef, diced onion and green pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat until meat is browned.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
