Spanish Rice

What you need:

    • 1 (15 oz.) can of corn, drained
    • 1/2 lb. ground beef
    • 1/2 cup onion, diced
    • 2/3 cup green pepper, diced
    • 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes - I used diced tomatoes
    • 1 cup uncooked rice
    • 1 cup water
    • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cook ground beef, diced onion and green pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat until meat is browned.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
