Apple Cheddar Beer Bread

What you need:

    • 3 cups flour
    • 1 Tbsp. sugar
    • 1 tsp. sea salt
    • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
    • 1 small apple, diced
    • 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
    • 1 tsp. minced onion
    • 6 sprigs thyme, take off leaves and discard stems
    • 12 oz. beer, at room temperature
    • 1 egg, beaten with 2 Tbsp. water

Directions:

    1. Combine flour, sugar, sea salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
    2. Add apple, cheddar, onion, and thyme. Stir.
    3. Slowly stir in beer.
    4. Place batter into a loaf pan and smooth out the top.
    5. Brush with egg wash.
    6. Bake at 375* for 45 minutes.
    7. Cool for 10 minutes before eating.
