Apple Cheddar Beer Bread
What you need:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 small apple, diced
- 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 6 sprigs thyme, take off leaves and discard stems
- 12 oz. beer, at room temperature
- 1 egg, beaten with 2 Tbsp. water
Directions:
- Combine flour, sugar, sea salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Add apple, cheddar, onion, and thyme. Stir.
- Slowly stir in beer.
- Place batter into a loaf pan and smooth out the top.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake at 375* for 45 minutes.
- Cool for 10 minutes before eating.
