Broiled Grapefruit
What you need:
- 1 large grapefruit
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Mint sprigs, if desired
Directions:
- Cut the grapefruit in half. If you have issues with them standing up, you can slice a little off the bottom to make it flat. Loosen the segments of the grapefruit from the shell using a knife.
- Mix together the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle sugar mixture over the grapefruit halves.
- In a preheated broiler, cook the grapefruit halves until bubbly, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
