Broiled Grapefruit

What you need:

    • 1 large grapefruit
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
    • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    • Mint sprigs, if desired

Directions:

    1. Cut the grapefruit in half. If you have issues with them standing up, you can slice a little off the bottom to make it flat. Loosen the segments of the grapefruit from the shell using a knife.
    2. Mix together the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
    3. Sprinkle sugar mixture over the grapefruit halves.
    4. In a preheated broiler, cook the grapefruit halves until bubbly, about 2 to 3 minutes.
    5. Garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
