Copycat McDonald's Cheeseburgers

What you need:

    • 2 tsp. dried minced onions
    • 8 tsp. boiling water
    • 1 lb. ground beef (makes 4 patties)
    • 4 plain hamburger buns
    • Salt, to taste
    • American cheese
    • Ketchup, mustard, dill pickles

Directions:

    1. Place the dried onions in a small bowl.
    2. Add boiling water and stir. Set aside to let them rehydrate.
    3. Using wax paper, press the g. beef into 4 patties that are 1/8-inch thick…or as thin as you can get them.
    4. Cook burger for 2 minutes on each side, salting lightly. Add cheese and let melt.
    5. Place patty on bun and top with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onion crystals.
    6. In the original recipe, Heather grilled the faces of the bun. After assembly she nuked them for 15 seconds.
